In general, shotguns really aren't the best choice

If you're using buckshot that isn't Flechette, aim for the legs

And ap-20 isn’t thaaaat bad

interchange is great and noiceguy has a route if you look him up on youtube
I dont know interchange that well but made BANK as well as looting the tech stores

also customs has a cache run which is relatively low profile and you can also do quests at the start of wipe

not as much but the dynamic loot system is coming in 12.6 which will buff runs in which you loot as many things as possible

Hi everyone! Need some advice on efficiently running Customs quests during the pre-wipe chaos. Map is always full of experienced players looking for pvp and easy kills, not exactly beginner friendly location as it is often labeled. Even hugging the toilet for 20-30 minutes after grabbing objectives and then running for exit doesn't work, because THEY know you will try to escape just before the timeout and THEY await for you. Currently stuck on Delivery from the past and The Extortionist. I know I can beat them eventually if I keep trying, just don't want to waste time and gear anymore.

I'd say scav runs if possible, they're good if you're able to loot kills, and you can kill people as well if you're lucky

since this is end of wipe most people are all juiced out on thicc gear so your best bet is either going onto customs/interchange/reserve or something like that as scav and going for loot left behind or taking a high power cheap gun like a hunter/mosin and going for sneaky one taps on thicc bois@wispy hatch

Nah, you need to get used to pvping, you can't spend your entire tarkov experience ratting

Scav runs are defo the way then, if you don't want to be losing all your gear then scav runs are good to learn

I mean I don’t care about the gear because when I scav I can usually come away with about a 200k haul. I want to essentially be able to just loot and get myself used to the map and keybinds without fighting. But I never seem to be able to avoid people with my PMC

Took my PMC in. Got to town, started to loot, bad sniper dead. Took Scav in, same route, looted it all, scored a M1A and checkpoint key along with many others and extracted. Didn’t see a soul

@bold kernel its difficult early on since people know the spawns and have a good sense of the "flow" like what routes people will take, at what time someone might push a certain area, etc.

learning spawns is the first step just try to remember where you spawn so that the next time you spawn near it you know that a spawn is near you

honestly it depends on your lobby and luck sometimes people rush the spawns near them sometimes they run away sometimes no one spawns in the immediate spawn close to you because they are in a big group

I'd suggest going offline, learning the maps, peaks, extracts etc so you are comfortable. Once you've learned a map, you won't die as often, trust me

I know my maps. It’s pretty much just getting used to the keybinds and getting fluid with them
