Know you are probably going to die and also play more for fun then anything, when you start out it you will have gear fear, but as you slowly starting grinding up you will soon find that you shouldn't really fear for gear since you can always earn new gear

I'd also recommend playing it slowly at first. Walk slowly to avoid making sound, crouch walk. Don't rush, be watchful of your surroundings and of any sounds.

Its always a good idea to set a goal every raid. Personally I aim to complete a task per raid. If I find I hear pmcs I want to fight or scav boss is on map or somethin then I can focus on that at that point

I find it best to at least start the raid with a route in mind.

are you loading into every raid late? I don't really see anything bottlenecking, but every. single. raid... Usually I'll die 3-5 minutes in because I end up pushing into locations people are already holding.

How do you guys stay consistent with a string of bad raids? Ive yet to extract after a string of losses yesterday. Doesnt help I keep getting melted before I have a chance, or I just dont see them. Started to get real sloppy as well lol

Nope, usually I just let it load while I get more coffee

@subtle wing I have something like a 20% extraction rate. 80% of the games I get into I'm dead before 5 minutes. You just have to try and avoid people, stick to the outsides of the map, move slow and listen.

Of course, that doesn't prevent you from getting rolled up on by a 5 man in sweaty gear who break your legs and take turns whacking you with a hatchet... good times

I have bad luck with teams, I can never seem to get a 1 on 1 fight, it's always 3 or more

Like I usually play the outside of the map, but Im either sniped like yesterday I was on some rocks above gas station on Customs killed a couple of scavs looted after listening, as soon as I was done looting I got domed from I think construction

Im also dead in a few rounds. Its like im shooting bbs while wearing a wet paper bag on my chest going to to a gun fight

I know what you mean. I went into a raid the other day decked out in level 6, nice M4 build and I unload into a guy, he whips around and murders me. Go in Thick, get 1 tapped. Go in light, and cheap and I find it less stressful and I can sneak around.

Get the tan level 4 armor rig, pick up a scoped mosin, sit in a corner

and yes, I have played a lot, I just get dicked on 24/7

214 hours in game and I've only survived 86 raids

Yesterday one of my final raids last night, I dropeped in with a mosin. Dropped a dude in Dorms picked up a lvl 6, black face sheilded helmet. a nice p90, and tri zip to fit it all in. Started to move to extract. Moved down the stairs laid prone to listen in a bush. Got 5 nades thrown at me and died

At this point Im just running scav runs until I can gun fight lol

since it's so late in wipe, a lot of people are running some pretty sweaty gear. I see tons of people with thermals which make it pretty much impossible to hide

yeah I think with Nikita announcing the wipe in May or June. We are probabily going to suffer through that for a few weeks

I am so excited for wipe day... I'm sick of being completely out-geared, or when I do gear up, getting my legs blasted and getting shit on by groups. 2 of my buddies bought the game but don't want to play until wipe , so at least I'll have friends to play with finally.
