This is how to get around gear fear. Usually run a different vest each time, or no vest. Different gun each time too (doing jaegers quests atm.) Use your ears, pack light so you can hear the different between a scav, a chad stomp and a rat scamper. Then know when to hold 'em & when to fold 'em.

I would really appreciate some tips/help for killing scavs on woods, barely played the map and I really need to kill 10 scavs there with a shotgun for a mission. Couldn't even find any before fighting PMC's

use slugs and a red dot sight or laser dot attachment to help line up the shotgun shells; if you want improved accuracy over range use the Superformance shotgun shells, i think they have 115% extra accuracy with no added recoil

@astral dirge suggest start by playing customs. Reserves tend to have more geared people since map has better loot.
Customs is a good way to learn movement, and scav spawns are more generic and predictable.

@magic star yep agree. Once you do the map a couple of times it's just orientating yourself, knowing the shops and the mall exits. But that might be hard if you're in the underground parking lot or unfamiliar with the shops.

so i play this game quite a bit and every time (almost) i go into a match i get dc'ed its honestly so annoying especially when playing with other ppl and they wait for me or just go its to annoying disconnecting 5 times on average even on eu servers sometimes , even on my own country's servers my ping goes 40......64.......96.......303 and keeps repeating its honestly annoying that no1 is even paying attention to this issue

@craggy valley ahhh yeah some areas have a tough time connecting to servers. Usually if you're in more populated countries servers are better. You can click on server in the launcher to see ping.
im in NA and never really have issues. But i feel you when u have the DC loop and lose your gear cause MIA status.
