Now money cases are better than document cases.

@meager cliff First thing to do is RESET EXPECTATIONS. Doesn’t matter how much or how well you do in other shooters. This is a knowledge game. You will die and die due to lack of experience not gear. Experience. It will require persistence and commitment. You need to learn maps, scav behavior, PMC behavior, what is good vs. bad ammo. Practice OFFLINE mode, with scavs on, at Customs. Try to make it from spawn to exit 10 times. IF you can do this 50% of the time then you are ready for online. Meanwhile use your scav at Interchange to get loot and learn the map.

@meager cliff be a rat. dont make much noise, listen out for other people, learn the extracts and how long it takes to run to them from where you are. Wait until the last 15 minutes of a match, go in to a hotspot, loot and run the heck out.

@meager cliff Honestly... run offline mode to get used to combat and the maps and try to master one or two maps before doing others. You don't keep anything from an offline raid, but you also don't lose anything either. Also, get used to aiming for the head with your starter guns. Scav runs are nice but you also want to run your PMC. You have a safe box you can put some stuff into for guaranteed cash as well as get actual experience for your MPC so your skills and level increase.

One thing I would keep in mid is if you are new and wait in a raid for the last 15 minutes of a raid for anything, you risk dehydration or complete energy loss which can kill you... also your food and water stores will decrease in your stash... You can find food and drink in raid, but you have to actually look around for it and other people will usually eat/drink it on sight.

Later on shoreline is the best profit.

You will die a lot early on so you have to make money and/or find gear. Get the extracts down first though.

Even if you go in and kill everything on the map, you lose all your stuff if you can't extract before the timer runs out.
