@stone moss From what I have read is that the tagged and cursed sometimes sticks with you after you do a hatchling run and then go in geared. Have not heard about it happening to anyone that brings in at least a gun and never hatchets.

@stone moss of course you will continue playing as you want. BSG will continue to take measures to limit or prevent hatchlings. I am hoping they go back to not being able to place items in the secure container during a raid. More likely they will go to not being able to place barter items in the secure containers, which will effectively kill all hatchlings.
So people that are reliant on hatchet runs will need to learn the game properly. So why not just do it now and stop being part of the problem.

A big issue with hatchling and hatchet running is you don't really learn anything. Actually worse than that you learn there is no risk so there is no need or desire to learn to play the game better.
Since this is Beginners-assistance we should be giving advice to beginners to get better.
Which is a large reason to discourage hatchlings.

I've played for a few days now, got out of a few alive, killed in many. If there's one thing that really grinds my gears, it's not knowing what the hell is compatible with what until you hover over it. There doesn't appear to be any way of searching in the Trading screens, or seeing which attachments or ammo are compatible with what. At the moment it seems that you either know, or you don't, and if you don't you have a painful time of clicking around.

The inventory management / gun building / ammo loading is a mini game in itself.

Is there anything at all to help speed this up?
