@glacial cedar First thing to do is RESET EXPECTATIONS. Doesn’t matter how much or how well you do in other shooters. This is a knowledge game. You will die and die due to lack of experience not gear. Experience. It will require persistence and commitment. You need to learn maps, scav behavior, PMC behavior, what is good vs. bad ammo. Practice OFFLINE mode, with scavs on, at Customs. Try to make it from spawn to exit 10 times. IF you can do this 50% of the time then you are ready for online. Meanwhile use your scav at Interchange to get loot and learn the map.

but the pu ring mount fits on the kochetov mount

theres also the arbalet patriot K+W mount
which has a WIDE array of sights/scopes it can put on. but honestly sights are preference. if you want a scope, the PU is a great budget option. some people dont like it, but I think it serves its purpose well

@thin lotus I'd advice you to watch a video on how the zeroing works in this game. its a big fucked right now with different bullets giving different zeroing distances and the scopes not accounting for that change.

Also, if you're going factory you want at least 2 extra mags, maybe 3
Bring a full stack of ammo in your secure container as well, bring a bandage to heal bleeding.
