@novel niche if you want to not lose all your stuff learn the maps in offline mode as a PMC. Go to http://www.gamemaps.co.uk/game/tarkov/ and start learning the extracts. Scav and player extracts are different so you'll want to practice the player extracts and just focus on making it to the extract. I wouldn't recommend going to factory until you've understood movement and the pace of gameplay. I personally hate factory and playing it too much when I first started made me want to quit.
Also Group up with someone in duos that has any experience but make sure it's someone you get along with. It can be hard to enjoy the game if you don't play with someone with the same play style.

@edgy phoenix only eat them when you're in raid and have some lower energy. That will level your metabolism, which you need for a hideout upgrade. They're a nice energy source bc they don't take away from your hydration.
You can also sell them on the market for 15kish? If you have a bunch just do that.

at Customs. Try to make it from spawn to exit 10 times. IF you can do this 50% of the time then
you are ready for online. Meanwhile use your scav at Interchange to get loot and learn the map.

I would consider GSSh ears a defensive tool however because they're useless when you're moving, they pick up and bass boost everything. But if you're moving slow and stopping from time to time, you'll hear sprinters like they're right next to you.

I wouldn't run sniper mosin unscoped if you can run a normal mosin as the sniper variant is worth more on the market and you're less likely to get it back through insurance
