Your gun is not static in the middle of the screen like it is in CS:GO. When you look right, your gun moves right, then your character moves right. So where the gun fires will not always be perfectly in the center.

Upgrade Workbench in Hideout. Then go to flea and examine every weapon and weapon part. That will give you full functionality of the EDIT PRESET function. You can swap parts in and out at will and the parts do not need to be in stash to use this feature as this is a “virtual build.” If you like what you made you can “save” it with a custom name and it will allow you to buy all the parts with the Assemble puzzle piece. Use cog wheel in buy parts section to determine if you only buy from traders or include flea offers.

Lucky Scav Junk box helps with that.
Otherwise never keep a lot of mags. Mags are cheap. Sell them. Never loot mags (unless it's a 60 round AK or M4 mag) unless you are actively using the weapon

Think of it this way. You loot a rig and a basic armor.
That totally fills up a scav backpack
Rig sells to skier for 20K
Armor sells to skier or flea for 25K
You have 45K
But it took up the entire backpack
1 electric motor (4 squares) is 50k
Corrugated hose is 20K for 2 squares
Silicon tube is 14K for 1 square
and so on and so on
