I'd suggest selling most things for now. Once you know that you need one or two specific items then you can start saving those and farming the relevant spots.
Only your pmc character can complete the quests but for certain ones like "You need a certain key" You can also complete with your scav

i.e. the bronze watch quest. You can find the key in the jacket but can't find the watch in the truck

Always check the flee market for higher valued items through the merchants. Can always be sold for a lot more money. i.e. Labs Keycard sells for 75k through the Therapist but can be sold for around 180k on the fleamarket

@trim herald Yes, but considering they are all tier 5, they stop bullets rather well. And ultraheighweight-ploythelene, which killa is made of, loses very little durability per shot that hits it. Meaning it'll mostly stop any midtier bullets till it's around half mark. Sure, any high tier ammo will penetrate quickly with little dmg drop off, but you'll generally be able to repair it below 70% and be able to tank an initial shot and then any bullets rated 4-3 on class 4 armors for a few as well.

gen4 and redut less optimal, but they can still be reused for more budget mid-tier looking runs

@hazy patio I haven't seen any actual math for it, it's mostly based of the balistics chart found of the wiki. And then the knowledge that whatever percentage durability a vest has of the original full durability is the integrity of it. Meaning a armor with 100 points will protect fully and for ever points it loses, it'll go down 1% integrity.
So if it's an armor with 50 max durability that gets shot to 27 it'll protect for 54% of the original value. And if you repair it so the new max is 47% then that'll still only put it up to a 94% of the initial integrity.

WHEN you open up flea check price (LOWEST PRICE LISTED) on flea for technology items (electronics) and hardware items. Plus suppressors and optics and sell to flea if it beats traders by enough. However if flea is close sell to traders using the Therapist>Skier>Mechanic progression.
