From my experience you do not have to change server selection at all. I've played with EU and other regions and never changed my server selection from NA. The person who does the inviting to the group will be the "host" server.

@inner glacier Yeah, and rushing for keys on scavs make no sense. This is why I always recommend scavving on Shoreline for caches. They're very rarely looted at all, while on Interchange most of the good stuff will be gone by the time you enter raid
