If you see a scav even. You don't have to shoot him immediately. You can take a position and wait for him to walk into a shot....especially if you don't have the best weapon.

I remember shooting an sks at a guy running down the stairs from the shoreline radar tower and missing, then getting pinned in the building. If I had have just waited for him to start leaving weather station I would have had a clear easy shot

Practice offline with scavs on normal. If you can make it from 1 side of the map to the other 50% of the time without dying to scavs then you are ready for online
