@twilit tinsel for upgrading your weapon you don't specifically look for a different platform. You want to look at what you allready used and are comfortable with and see if there is more mods you can do that are worth it. If you used an adar so far you might wanna try to buy a m4 lower receiver and swapping it in. A good medium budget gun that I like is the 74m with the cqb muzzle

I'd your rifle is zeroed for 100m it means that at a range of 100m it will be exactly where your scope is looking at

If your gun is zeroed for 100m. And you stand 100m away. Your round will hit exactly what you aim at. Depending on what round the gun is zeroed with.

Since a bullets flightpath is a downward curve you adjust the point of impact by changing where the scope looks

The idea is that it essentially pushes your sight upwards, so that it account for bullet drop and centers your sights
