Since you said you had nothing you can scav in on Interchange and run straight to he exit

There are only 2 on Interchange you need to worry about

Out the back of the green sign store (Olie) to the back corner by some tents

And out the front of Idea (blue/yellow) to the front corner by railroad tracks

If you just take what you start with and run to exit you will have gear to practice with

Then you can go Offline node to practice with that gear

Then scav again and get more gear

Then after you build up some gear use your scav to loot

And sell that loot to make $

Biggest tip though is patience. This game is not easy and has a huge learning curve. Doesn't matter how you do at other shooters. This isn't them
