You must have really bad nvidia settings or bad pc cause I do not have an issue with heat. On white hot, everything is black besides an actual heat source, or loose items.

I usually run stuff like this:
(insured, BP. but i've stopped using sight and muzzle brake since i lose it every time)

but it feels like it doesn't matter, either i get sniped from someone i couldn't see, or get mowed down instantly. I have luck sometimes, but only from low level players and i guess player scavs. If it's a fair fight I can fight but almost all of my deaths are (PLAYER) head, ears (ME) or something but instant. So I try sprinting everywhere so if i get shot at from a camper, I have a chance, which actually works, but then everyone knows where i am. I seem to have better luck as scav, probably because they spawn in later, but I don't want to just sit around for 10 minutes to start.
