The armour HP is how many hits it can stop before it just stops working

So level 3 armour, better bullets will go right through it, even though it has higher hp

Passive
In the bottom left of your inventory there is a meter that shows how much you weigh. Previously, you needed to be overweight. Though I have heard talk of only needing 30-35kg. Regardless, check your weight and keep your strength level in mind. Check if you are improving it, if you are, let me know what your weight is. To be safe, just go over your limit.

Active
This is significantly faster, though a bit more expensive.

Step 1: Find a friend who also wants strength or is willing to help.
Step 2: Both buy a crowbar and bring in grizzlies. One in case, one in moe rig, or backpack, or whatever. Doesn't
matter. Bring as many as you like. Simple formula: 100-110 hits per grizzly, 10-11 skill points.
Step 3: Purchase a grenade and possibly pistol and load onto shoreline.
Step 4: Person 1 bends over face down and prepares to heal stomach
Step 5: Person 2 whacks Person 1 in the ass once, should hit stomach
Step 6: Person 1 heals his stomach. As soon as the actual healing starts, not just the animation, Person 1 says
"Healing"
Step 7: Person 2 starts beating the shit out of Person 1's stomach, left click as fast as possible.
Step 8: Person 1 says stop about .5 seconds before healing stops
Step 9: Person 2 stops hitting as to not black Person 1's stomach
Step 10: Person 1 and Person 2 switch sides.

You need to get both keys, one is locked behind a quest (unless wiki needs to be updated) and the other can be found. The quest is gunsmith part 11. Maybe thats why no one has gone for it that you have seen.
