Depends. Factor in cost of the card, cost of gear and access cards to use to go there, factor in loss because you won't have 100% success rate. Then factor in an estimate of how much you can take out of there (lions, cocks, bitcoin, stuff like that + MP's and weapons) and how many runs it'll take to make back your 20 million or whatever it's going for.

As for the game itself
Escape from Tarkov is set in the fictional Norvinsk region in Northwestern Russia, around a "special economic zone" that served as a gateway between Russia and Europe. However, this attracted corporations with dubious intent, and the city of Tarkov became the centre for a major political scandal involving corrupt corporations in the Norvinsk region. Six months later the situation erupted into an armed conflict involving the Russian Internal Troops, United Nations peacekeepers, and two private military companies: United Security (USEC) and BEAR. The Norvinsk region's borders were sealed off, and those trapped in the middle of the war zone were isolated from the outside world. USEC was hired by the Terra Group, one of the corrupt corporations involved in the scandal, to hinder investigations during the conflict, while BEAR was hired by the Russian Government to uncover evidence about Terra Group.
In the game, your character is a PMC, either USEC or BEAR, and your goal is to deploy to various locations in Tarkov to search for gear such as weapons, electronics, and other valuables. During these "raids", you'll run into other player PMC characters, which are generally hostile because they're searching for loot as well. There's also computer controlled AI scavengers that patrol the map who have very basic equipment, but can still be deadly. If you get close to them, they will attack you.
Basically you go in, grab as much loot as you can, and then try to escape to one of the designated extraction zones on the map

Hey guys, been playing for about a month now and I have a tip that should help others like me:
Pull up a map of the Customs hidden caches and learn them either online/offline, you can just take a pistol, a rig and a bag and figure out a path you like through them, its a good way to make money so you lose your gear fear and it's relatively easy to walk safely in customs!
There are plenty of good drops in them that you can store in an alpha, like analog thermometers, hoses, nails, the works.

best thing to do is quickly unlock yager lvl 2 as he sells 100 value gas for really cheap. starting out you should focus on learning the maps, getting used to the gun controls and movement, and getting better at dealing wich scavs. do quests when you can.

once you get the hang of the game just do quests at your own pace. its nice to lvl traders but dont burn your self out trying to grind up. have fun and know that you will die a lot. jaeger is unlocked from a quest you get from another trader

1- easy spot: power station sniper scav at the roof.
2- easy spot: sniper sitting on a rock at the exit of rock passage.
3- easy spot: go to the roof of shorline resort and seek for scavs walking around terminal.
4- burning gas station and around the seaside scavs.
5- scavs are wandering around the island at shorline. sometimes you may see them but other players could hunt you down.

So I did a scav run on factory, geared up, got 3 weapons and plenty of goodies. Extracted and went on the "raid ended" screen, and all I have is what I went in to the raid originally. Is this a glitch or am I missing something?

@proper axle I've read mixed results earlier saying that someone went through the after-raid prompts and the items appeared and another who even restarted the game and still didn't see the loot appear. You might be out of luck.

It wasn't an amazing raid, it was cheap shit but I was able to snatch one of my favorite rifles, it's cheap anyway, its only an ak.
Also, I restarted the game and yeah it all appeared in my backpack, so I got the loot but I had the ak in my 2nd primary slot so thats the only thing I am missing and thats the only thing I wanted haha.

The Vepr KM (VPO-136) is amazing though if you want a budget gun. Only 15-18k on the flea market and can still deal with PMC's with armor and one-shot lower class helmets

@mortal dagger yes the secure containers are permanent for the time of the wipe. It's bound to you account but if you choose to drop it in a raid you will most likely loose it. So never take out your container in a raid
