when wipe happens, whom here would be interested in having me join them in raids and wouldnt mind giving out tips and tricks? im not totally new to FPS games or tactical gameplay, but i am fairly new to how the community works the game and the different things that follow with it. i.e. places to jump to from a position, tips on gunplay, what to and not to bring with you, what is a shit weapon or kit, etc. each game has their own rules, right now i have just been frustrated cause i just keep dying from getting one shot, and it honestly makes me kinda want to give up til wipe comes in, just like i do with rust.

Do more factory. I was able to scav spawn and sneak behind a raider into bathrooms. found loads of gear. held out until I was last player. The raiders slowly honed in on me from minor movements and 2 grenades timed very distantly.

you will learn landmarks eventually. you will also recognize places you have been and figure out where they are on the map, then figure what direction you need to go. might take a while but sooner or later you won't need a map anymore

When you inspect a gun, there is a tab that says ergonomics. The higher the number, the less stamina it will drain while you aim. You can inspect any weapon part to see if it affects ergonomics as well @keen ibex

Techlight has some nice valuable electronics usually. Generic store has a good amount of weapon crates. Kiba is a locked up gunstore. If you've got the keys that place is good.

going by my chart 545 could be said to have a wider range of effective ammo vs tier 3+ armours

556 seems to favour frag chance though goin off my chart so maybe lucky one hits on the head

762 being sks. There is a couple AK's that branch in other ammo types now I think of it. AKM I think usually goes 762 which is nice

@bold kernel you;re correct about the rounds. However honestly it's really to each their own. Doesn't matter if you have the best 5.56 round and gear if you get outshot by a dude with the crappiest 9mm who can actually aim.

yes if you buy or do anything now it will reset tomorrow. there will be a full wipe meaning everything youve done or have will be reset to the point of when you first bought the game.

If it's offline you can leave no problem. However on Interchange only 2 exfil to remember. 1 out front door of Idea to t he front right corner by some train cars (NW). Other one is SE. Out back of Ollie to the right corner between some tents and a truck.

Soooooooo the offline mode is misleading :/ I spawned in at night as PMC and thought I didn't wanna risk it and laid low the entire game, only to find out that I was marked missing in action and lost all my gear, which is NOT what happens in offline, in offline you can go the entire game and not extract and it'll give you the same congrats as when you extract

At the end of offline if you die the first screen will have the red at the bottom saying you lost your stuff but it's not correct. IF you really went offline then you will not lose your stuff. Won't even lose the ammo you use of the meds you use.

Just picked up the game a few days ago and I've been doing as much research on new player tips as I can, is it recommended to spend a ton of time in offline mode against AI before going online, or just learn extracts in offline and then throw myself online until I get better? Will it be terribly difficult to get back up from zero if I lose everything from repeated deaths? I'm getting my ass kicked by scavs in offline and I want to make sure I won't be screwing myself over if I decide to just throw myself online until I get better instead of only playing against offline scavs for a week or two before I even touch online

For those not watching the BSG stream. The 12 update is available for download HOWEVER the servers are totally overloaded. They are planning on adding as queue to help sort this out.

if you cannot log in, close your launcher, delete the following file:
%AppData%\Roaming\Battlestate Games\BsgLauncher\Settings
and relaunch your launcher
you have to relog in a few times
as your logins may get rejected
but once you're login is accepted, it should start the update.

Because their servers can't support 1000's of downloads. So it's dividing it's service to everyone evenly... which is slow.
