the second you kill a scav you effectively become pmc

scavs will delete you

also Killa will attack you on interchange regardless of how friendly you have been

You can find M4 at times in some crates but it's rare compared to vepr and other weapons. Have to level traders and buy one. Or pay inflated prices on the flea

For prapors quest where you need to go to customs office and then plant it in factory, do you have to refind the docs in customs each time if you die before planting in factory?

yes or you can store the doc in your special item inventory and use it when youre ready

and you only have to survive the planting. You will still need to extract to finish the quest, but you dont have to extract in the same run. It shouldnt work like that, but it seems to currently be an oversight

Lag can happen either way, but that's typical. Especially when you first load into a raid. It could be server connection, or a player with a bad connection.

If youre gonna collect all keys, Shoreline takes up 2 keytools and Customs takes up 2 keytools

Id advise a stock SKS with some cheap class 3 body armor thats not too banged up and a scav backpack

Using PS rounds loaded off the top (from your pocket, no mags needed)

Vepr Hunter is insanely strong with 10 round mags and M80 ammunition, it's a bit more expensive than an SKS but in my opinion very worth it

Check a guide on good beginner guns and gear, sell the rest that can’t be bartered and make a few ready to go loadouts. It sucks when you are scared to sell stuff because you don’t know what is good or not

Samder you can also play in offline mode with no pve to explore a map in peace. Nothing that happens in offline mode is saved, good way to try out a gun or play with controls. You can also turn on pve to practice fighting scavs with no risk

These happen around a week before the actual wipe - sometimes traders prices are crazy low, other times bit coins can be found everywhere...

this time I think they are going to make pouches one way only in raids (you can only take stuff out of them). There will most likely be other fun stuff though - last wipe they had Labs Raiders spawning on every map.

PSO scope is great early wipe for range, and for cqc early I like using the Deltapoint which mounts on the TT01 for AK's so it's only one trader level off of being starter gear

I find the aiming to be way different in this game, for example my monitor has a crosshair/red dot built in that is just dead center of the monitor. In most games thats accurate to all guns but in this game because of sway and other factors I couldn't use that if I wanted to as its not accurate.

since you asked, head has 35 hp, chest 80, stomach 70, arms 60, legs 65. when a body part has 0 hp it becomes blacked out, damage done to it is distributed to the rest of the body. to kill someone you need to get them to 0 hp (435 total damage) or black out their chest or head. most ammo does enough damage to kill someone in one headshot (not including helmets)

Epsilon you cab get at the end of punisher series and kappa is from fence after completing every single quest in the game

yeah, the test is going to be not being able to place things in your container that you pick up inside the raid (things you brought in will still be able to be placed inside your container indiscriminately)

I didn’t realize how much of a difference tactical headsets make for hearing people, I always wondered how they heard people so clearly from farther away

Learn angles, never walk around a corner blindly peek the angles. Wheel mouse changes movement speed use it to slow down and speed up on the fly when not sprinting

So I had a friend join last night and had time for 1 game after he installed. We did a scav run and joined as a team and we spawned in the same area. Keeping track of a teammate is hard I couldn’t imagine playing 4 or 5. Get to the extract and leave and he can’t, we didn’t realize we had different extract points lol. Is this a scav only thing? Was hard guiding him blindly over discord to his extract when he had no map

its only a scav thing from what ive learnt. scavs start a little scattered than PMC and each has their own extract points. You might have like one that matches theirs every now and again.

@tawdry roost I found that lurking can be quite bad more often than not, you gotta get a bit ballsy, you are a very easy target when creeping slowly

watch some vids of more experienced people, they usually run around more than slow walking

also offline runs help a lot with building confidence, you can learn the maps, where scavs spawn, looting areas, and getting used to the way combat works, or get you used to looting faster

creeping around through open areas makes you a very easy target if you're spotted at a distance

#

but also be careful with sprinting... it's very loud and you don't want to be low on stamina in a situation where you need to sprint, or ADS a heavier gun

#

and going prone is useful in some situations but not as good as you might think... it makes a lot of noise (both doing it and moving while prone) and unless you're behind cover relative to your opponent it makes you an easy target

#

so don't just instinctively drop to prone when shot at unless you know for sure it's going to keep you from getting shot. In a flat-ish open area, it won't most of the time

interchange is great, very confusing map at first and scavs are rough but you can often run it without getting into pmc fights depending on where you go
