Scav runs are free loot. You don't gain experience, so unless you really need a backpack, don't shoot Scavs, and you can just walk into areas with free protection and can loot. Locations like Shoreline you don't need to hit the main resort, you can hit the Pier and Weather Tower for loot as well, if you are looking to get in and out.
(well, you gain some experience, but no skills ,etc)

the main problem for new players is their "menthality" dont think of tarkov as a shooter but try to survive. of course you will fucking die if you run around like a retard and run straight for gunshots. If you try to play tarkov like you are really in the position of your character, you will do most things right automatically. And extracting beeing alive is always a success even if you dont have that much loot.

So I got one, after playing this game for 3 days or so, I found out my main problem besides just generally aiming and Map Basic Knowledge (because yeah fuck me and my skill in orientation) is dealing with Armored Targets
Especially Armored Players
Went fully geared and ready into Factory for the first time, first guy I see is a fully geared up guy with armor too, despite me having the drop he manages to take me out after a lenghty close fire fight
So my question is
How can I deal with such targets, Scavs and Players alike better?
Is it my weapon choice? catridge? bullet type?
Any Advices on this?

Hey guys so do you guys use Loudness Equalization when playing Tarkov? Generally speaking I have pretty bad hearing (Dyslexic hearing) but the sounds in game people say keep 100. The thing is im already jumpy and the gunshots just blow out my ear drums each time making it even worse. Any tips?

@bold kernel dont use Loudness Equalization. It will destroy your ability to tell close from far noises, and will mess up sound direction. If your sound card cant give you loud enough soud trough headphones, buy USB headset (they have their own soundcard integrated).

Yes.
There's plenty of keycard spawn points, lots of easy to kill scavs, and decent loot sprinkled over 3 main areas.
As long as you're cognisant of where the hot sniper spots are and their sight lines, you'll be fine.

Stop running, take time to engage at the longest range possible given the weapon, if you start getting shot at don't wobble back and forth like its COD but reposition and engage from a different angle.

@formal terrace best bet is to buy several sets of the same armor, helmet, and weapon. I use Gen4 Assault and the Shattered facemask because it makes the broken raider aim more manageable (they target unarmored parts of the body).
Raider reaction time and aim are broken in labs. if they spot you, they're reaction time is inhuman. if you get an angle on them when they're in the "patrol" or "search" mode, theyre pretty slow
so once you're spotted, break their line of sight completely, and move to another angle

Go to your settings , turn head Bob as low as it can go and fov to 75
After that go look at the key binds
Once you're done with that you can check out offline mode , you won't lose anything there , and can try weapons and key binds out , as well as play pve
You won't get anything from offline matches though
Pay close attention to the loading screen. If you try and go into offline mode but see names in the lobby. Back out and confirm you selected offline mode .

running and ducking are always done at max noise levels and proning is VERY noisy but if you crouch and press caps then walk around youre almost inaudible

painkillers stop the effects of blacked limbs and also stutters when hit in the limbs in combat, most people will have their character on pain meds whenever they possibly expect combat to reduce stutters
and you get a 'bleed' icon
bandages and most medkits will patch bleeds
that deteriates all limbs equally
so can be very costly in that respect, i believe the AI2 is the only one that doesnt stop bleeds but still heals, the advantage of the AI2 though is its cheap and super quick to use

Everyone initially has their own style going in. Some are campers. Some are csgo blyat players. Some just do random intermittent shit. So my counter is that you arent trying to adapt the teachers style, just experience of the game mechanics, pathing, spawns, and figuring that shit out can take tons of solo games versus one raid with a dude who can tell you that in 5 mins

Solo definitely teaches patience though. If you do nothing but squading you will be a poor solo player for sure. Which backs up your point on how to survive and picking battles, so yeah you're right there. Kind of a playstyle thing though being patient or not.

So ive heard that I can scrap the parts from an ADAR and slap it on an m4 lower receiver to make it full auto. The thing is, my mechanic is only level 1 and i cant buy the lower receiver from him. I tried looking on the flea market for like a week and a lower receiver still hasnt shown up

Yesterday happend a lig of time I played 7 raids and only escaped once I lost 500k and I need really more money so I want to farm but is almost impossible for me. Scav scav scav. Scav as much as you can till you are comfortable with mechanics and map. Learn choke points and where people traverse, use your own experience and your pathing to think okay at the point in time where do I think someone might be. Obviously nothing will ever be exactly the same but there is a pattern cause we all are human and have similar deductive reasoning. Learn where extracts are. Never be in the open with out cover if you cant help it. If someone doesnt notice you dont fire straight away, take your time, line up a shot and send it. Taking a prone or crouched position while unnoticed will secure your life and their death most cases. Dont lay down during a fight unless your legs are blacked and there is cover to hide behind briefly to avoid shots. Take pain killers and find a way to break contact and reposition. Learn to crouch walk on slowest setting, most cases hearing is king and someone will take advantage immediately, so also lower your amount of running. This game was hard for everyone at first. Also use the tarkov wiki, it will be your best friend.

then it wasn't until I watched someone's video of customs that I realized 1. there was a dead scav in smokestack building that is lootable that I ran past.. every time
then even later... that there could be a key spawn there too

Learning the individual controls as well as all the combinations is very critical to playing this game. Checking how many bullets you have left, quickly looting, sneaking, adjusting crouch height. Knowing the controls in tarkov makes all the difference in the world.

Solid tip for you guys who find your self losing track of ammo with the 20 round mags, ( or other low cap things) you can stack ammo Last to first in this sort of order, you will see 1 tracer round as a reminder to reload for prolonged engagements, while the last 3 are a sign that you're about to round out. The middle round allows for a fresh mag to be loaded and you don't expose your firing position a second time right away if all 5 were tracer
