Think about it this way. Without the quests, and by extension certain strong items locked behind quests and traders, there'd be no reason to run nothing but Fort, Atlyn, and M4s with 100 round mags.
Not to mention it gives the player enough time to not only come to grips with pieces of the weapon and armor eco-system at a time, instead of laying everything out in front of them.

I personally enjoy holding a strong position and burning the clock for people who can't let go and just head to extract. And you have peek advantage right? lol

Any camping spot I try with good sights is usually quite open or hidden spots have limited views. and yes its boring. There is trade offs anyway you slice it. In the end there is still secure containers and groups providing a varity of choices.

Hey, does anyone have some tips on how to move around the different maps. I have my knowledge and know the map well, but i keep dying to players who spot me. I don't know if it is because of the sound or i'm just terrible at spotting them cause 80% of the time i play can hear enemies shooting but never seem to find. Try interchange.
You will make a lot of loot there, you have big open map there and it’s quite easy to hide and kill people.
And it’s open. You can escape and flank everywhere. Customs sucks loot wise, it’s very linear and dangerous.
In addition to that, you can play scav on interchange. That’s my main source of income (beside player kills). It’s quite easy to earn 100-300k in 15 mins.

So, in watching videos from EFT streamers like Anton, Pestily, and Veritas, I have noticed that some are able to search enemy players without using the button at the top of the gear item (vest, backpack, etc.) and instead it looks like they're using a shortcut key. I know that MMB can be used to inspect items quickly, but when I've tried using that same button to search gear it doesn't work. I've even seen Pestily search multiple gear slots at the same time.
Can anyone explain how they do this? I've tried looking at the controls menu, and even looked up "advanced" controls videos to no resolution.

but I have't mastered any of the maps yet, so I am taking my time and exploring and learning

amature player here just wanting to know what any expert player thinks of my loot. have 6.3 million roubles 12 million dollars, and shit ton of vests and backpacks and few weapons. Seeing if thats decent amount of shit to reallly start playing missions as pmc. For last wipe have been doing tons of scav runs on shoreline collecting keys and good loot. Not the best player but wanting to start running missions for PMC. Have done around 500 scav runs top 140 pmc runs.

I stuck to just running any scav I got available on the side of playing my PMC... Got a few kits and routes for farming barter goods and such. lvl 40 and stash value is 68mil... lil late on some tasks like blood war for therapist but you should be fine to be working PMC for a while now there it sounds like in comparison to me. I'm no snap shot but I'm starting to find guns that help me take on PvP a little.
