Ideally, you shouldn't. Engaging at range should always be your first option, and always make sure you only take shots that you're confident you'll hit, especially when unsuppressed

#

As for telling them apart, it's all in the movement. Scavs don't crouch or prone move, they walk just under max move speed, and they mostly don't aim in the direction move. Their always off at a slight angle

Body shots are fine as long as you're in a position for quick follow up shots, but if you have the time to sit and aim, always go for the head

if your getting camped in something like factory you can go the expensive route and buy a factory key to reduce it drastically the other solution to to flush them out with flashes you throw one in they will run out 9 times out of 10 or they will start spraying and give away their position.

@serene perch you can fit any mosin barrel on the stock. If you want a short obrez you can use the standart 200mm barrel, but then you miss the front sight. You could also use the 220mm barrel (loot only or fleamarket ) which has a frontsight and you can attach a silencer and a tri rail to mount more scopes

i recommend using mosin+LPS or adar+m995 (from flea market) as a budget loadout, avoid players in general unless you can zap them when they're not looking at you

don't play customs or factory, strongly don't recommend woods, shoreline is okay, interchange is best

Thanks for the tips, ironically, I dont get the best frames on interchange, and the stutters are pretty bad. Everyone keeps telling me to go there however, its playable, but only barely

It means you now have to suffer the penalties that come with having a destroyed chest. I think a destroyed stomach involves making loud coughing sounds and dehydrating rapidly

You can bleed into 0 but any further damage will kill you

#

Eg if you're lucky enough to sustain a head bleed but heal it in time it will black your head without killing you

Or at least I've had it happen on multiple occasions
