competition between traders I guess.
The +rep can be easily retrieved just by doing quest. I'm guessing upon release, the rep will have a bigger impact depending on who you side with or favor to barter with

Starting the Task Chemical Part 4 , will auto start the Tasks Out of Curiosity and Big Customer, which you can only turn the task into one person Prapor, Therapist or Skier.
The other two people will give you a trust regain task, like for Ther is called Trust Regain: turn in some keys for only a rep reward. and Skiers task is Loyalty Buyout which is giving that shit 1m R for also a rep gain

Some other tasks like Operation Aquarius will just lower anothers rep but without a tsak to regain it

after playing since .7 I've realized that recoil isn't everything. Ergo makes a huge difference in gameplay. and modding efficiently without having to break the bank. our builds arent too much different in that aspect though

Factory will help you improve and demoralise you at the same time, it’s fast and close pvp so it’s good practice but expect your survival rate to be low

Maybe pick a bigger map like customs or shoreline, get a good map in your internet browser or printed off and just learn that map inside & out. I’m new also and am currently just learning loot locations / spawns / callouts / extraction points etc.

If you watch the ai scavs for a bit You can tell a player scav from an Ai by the way they move

@calm gate You're gonna have to be shooting people outside. Best bet is sniping extracts but that's pretty shady, you could snipe exits outside of the Mall itself. Decent points could be just from wherever you can see the aformentioned spots or the watch tower in the parking lot maybe in case some folks roam around outside a bit.

Best would be probably a silenced mosin or a SV98 if you want more bullets in a mag and a bit more ergo

The bill board towers are fairly easy spots that yield some results. But those shots are honestly not easy.

Power station in the rear of the mall will yield easier shots, but fewer.

Check point/ scav spawn in the middle of the highway looking at the 2nd floor of the mall will be the easiest targets, but requires a lot of luck.

Southern extract camping can yeild in some moderately easy shots with the most frequency, but you'll be a dirty extract camper.

Rear hallway behiend the fire has a few good shots,

Goshan to the center of the mall has a few 100+ m shots as well.

@feral gorge I set my Mosin scope to 100m generally. I'm not the greatest with guessing range, especially once I've thrown someone up with a magnified scope.
Ended up with a couple of times I emptied my entire mosin into someone thinking he was 150 out and I was going for the top of his chest only to learn he was almost 300m out at the end of the raid

Something to note, the 5.56 and 5.45 rifle's ammo range in MV sooo much that Point of impact will not match for most of the ammo.

Or at least didn't i've not reallly reallllly tested this for 11.7.

They seemed to tone down the effects of MV a touch so 7n1 and lps should land close, as should m61/m80

nah fal is a solid rifle for shooting up to 500m with in the correct configs

I'd advise using 10 round mags so you pick your shots wiser and can't rely on mag dumps for kills.

how the fuck does one survive a raid in which another player comes within so much as 500 feet of you? I simply cannot survive, no matter what I bring in. I'm trying to do the shoreline scav kills with akm. Go in light gear, die before I can kill a scav. go again and die. go again and die. go in with a gen 4 and tacteck and kivr. die anyway from someone shooting from a bluff somewhere after I kill one enemy with a supressed rifle. I can't win, no matter what I do? Max durability and survivablity means noting when someone just comes and shoots me in the back before I can so much as set sight on a scav. Rush, go slow, it makes no difference. I'm going where there are scavs to kill them, but people just kill me regardless. I feel like I'm going crazy, I've lost 100s of thousands in gear trying to kill damn scavs!

I just don't understand what I'm doing wrong? Whenever I try to watch or wait on players, I get shot. Whenever I just try to go for it I also get shot. What is a fool of a player to do? I obviously recognize I'm missing something fundamental here, and its the same no matter what map I play, with shoreline being the absolute worst, even without setting foot inside the health resort. I'd really love someone to come and point out to me what my dumbass is doing so horribly wrong that makes me such an easy target?

.7, stopped for a while after I got too frustrated at this exact same problem, come back every few patches and rinse and repeat. Is it just a practice thing? i've put like 40 ish hours in already this patch and am just not seeing any improvements. I know the maps, know where scav spawns are and have a pretty good sense about where players will be coming from. I know where all the high value loot is I never am allowed to get because murder, but even when I'm running away from those places I get killed

@keen egret AKM and Vepr KM are very decent guns that drop from scavs. and SKS. All are good starting guns that shoot 7.62x 39mm that reliably kill scavs

you can head tap players if you lucky but killing players reliably comes later

Also the Veprhunter which shoots 7.62x51mm is very cheap in flea market and can get a pso scope for 19k from prapor lvl 1 that hits like a truck and actually helps with players more

If you start getting upset at the game take a break for a bit, clear your head and come back to it later. You're going to die, youre going to lose some REALLY good gear. Its gonna happen, so just try and learn from what youre doing so you can avoid death as much as possible. 1-taps are going to happen alot, youre going to LIGHT someone the fuxk up and hes gonna turn and one shot you. Its gonna happen. Just dont let it get to ya.

@small elbow for a new comer, i recommend you use mosin starting off. then pick up AKM/Vepr Km from scavs, free guns that cheap to mod and bit more reliable than mosin IMO

this is how you can mod AKM/vepr km lvl 1-15

if you get peacekeeper 2 you can get 30 rd mags at lvl10

One thing that I find helpful is to do a scav run every time I start playing, and play risky to remember that dying isn't anything to be too worried about. Helps loosen you up, because you don't loose anything and kinda shake the dust off

It's a online PvP game @tame karma you won't really find a empty server, as I recall you need a minimum of 2 to start the raid

People continue to say to complete tasks at night on empty servers, have had several people explain they made massive gains by going into places like interchange and labs on empty servers. Was just wondering if there was a consistent way to do such, since I'm having so much trouble doing things vs other players. Thanks though

Night raids are less populated for sure, but if you are actively looking for low pop servers, it would mean selecting one server at a time most people will not be playing in that region, and having a ping 150> to connect, but you could be waiting a long time in a queue to connect

3 of them got killed in the first minute

1 of them kill because of not counting bullets

1 of them accidentally shoot a scav only to realise i had 3 scavs right behind me

2 of them let hell loose with my ak scav, killing in one of those games 15 guys(including scavs, one of them had the blue armor and UN helmet, couldnt resist), only to run out of meds, crawl to gate 3 while bleeding hard and get shotgunned in the face after opening the door

@pale shuttle depends on if you like the guns or not. this game is not completely about this vs that. all guns can kill. if the question is toz vs m4... duh. but other than that its all down to what you like and feel like you're good with

use offline mode too. imo, it helps more than anything. use it to study and get comfortable with advanced maneuvers. we arent all as capable as kotton just flicking a mouse around. but using movements can really help

@tropic snow I upgraded recently, was gonna wait for sale but went for it, turned out I had to reset my account even though the upgrade was meant to apply without a reset. Just just a thing to consider while you’re playing rn, might have to reset and lose everything so spend your rubles accordingly

to get used to the game play offline and scav matches

#

you lose nothing in offline, and in the case of scav matches you lose just what you get in raid. If you manage to get out with your scav, you get to keep the gear and sell it.

#

you also gain nothing in offline, but you can get used to the maps easily. Also, loading in scavs will give you a good idea of the gunplay mechanics, movements, etc

#

The scavs right now are pretty good. Never repeak 😃
