Every time I go in with gear something fucking ridiculous happens. Either I start 2 minutes late or my character gets stuck to nothing. It's so frustrating to actually try to play the game properly and get fucked over because something glitches out.
Does it take longer to load in if I'm fully geared?

Load with with a mosin , backpack or pistol, backpack. I load in and get the real deployment. Load in with gear and I'm 2 minutes late and there is a dude shooting at me from the opposite side of the map because my pmc is stood around like a moron waiting for my client to finish loading

Yes you load in 30 seconds quicker with an ssd. But I spawn normally a lot of the time. Sometime it just doesn't. I'm even sat 'waiting for players' and then it still spawns me in late. How can I be waiting for other people when they're already running around looting?
I load in first map offline every time, so that's not the problem

@buoyant mason Hey, as of now containers cannot be traded on the flea market. You can get a gamma container by manual trading (through a raid by having someone else drop it for you), but there is some risk involved in that, of course.

People sometimes reset their account right after a wipe happens, but before that they transfer the first batch of gear they recieve normally onto other accounts, by manual trading. That way a lot of players end up owning two of them, often right after a wipe.
Another way is when people simply rack up enough currency to trade them.

@rancid fractal trirail fits larger scopes. Secondly raiders have higher hp on chest and head than normal pmc, so unless you hit head it's not a one tap. And there isnt any bullet proof glass
And you cant fit it on Infantry stock mosin

@bold kernel in my experience reshala got aggro zones around him. If you enter the first you get a warning but get shot if you stay. If you enter the second zone without the guards having time to warn you, you get shot immediately.

most "skill" in tarkov comes from positional awareness and not being deaf
for now just run shoreline and interchange, they're larger and much more forgiving
no point in trying to finish quests now when wipe is so close, you're gonna have to do them again within a week or two anyways

a quick rundown on bullet types
5.45 - buy BS from flea market
7.62x39 - buy BP from flea market
7.62x54r (mosin) - buy LPS from prapor
if you have any 5.56 weapons just sell them because they're fairly overpriced for their performance, unless you have the dosh to run them constantly
SMGs and shotguns - anything that relies on flesh damage and not pen is pretty garbo in tarkov

Yes, there are only a small amount of quests out there that require you to have everything they ask for before you can turn them in, most allow you to turn them in piecemeal, but this one is not one of them. So tuck the first flash drive you found away, and keep trying to find another

Both will do about the same thing, save you from a top head shot from a pistol or a shotgun, other than that it's a tossup. Unless you plan to run a faceshield on the kiver (its the only one of the two you mentioned that can) then the 6B47 is better

I personally, for budget helmets, run the SSh-68 or the 6B47. Only due to them having high richochet chances. You gotta keep in mind, most helmets are gonna be the same until you start getting into the class 5-6 range, as everything below a class 5 is gonna get shot through by a good rifle round

It's a good source to use to know what ammo you wanna be using. If you're going for chest/head shots, you want high pen, if you're going for leg shots, you typically want high damage

To get Peacekeeper quests unlocked you have to go through Skier and complete Friend from the West Pt 2
They are well worth it imo, as they are easier quests but have tons of rewards. Usually when I start fresh, one of my first things is grinding towards getting Peacekeeper quests unlocked as quickly as possible

Yup, some are level dependent, some are not.
Peacekeeper for example, has a quest that requires 10 PMC dogtags, doesn't matter the level.
So keeping your low level tags for something like that, and then keeping your lvl 20+ for other quests, is a good plan for the future.

@coarse flame I have had a lot of luck on interchange playing on the second floor doing overwatch around Kiba, biggest things I found for a simple play was to get up there, take out whatever scavs are up top (usually 2, rarely more) and then start circling. There are multiple spots along the railings where you can get great shots on Scavs or players, the shots will attract more scavs and the braver PMCs on the server. DO NOT STAY IN ONE PLACE - You will die.
Once things have calmed down between scav spawns (you'll get a feel for when a wave is inbound) you usually have 30-90s to get down there, loot (while paying incredibly close attention to audio - if you have a chance, they'll be making noise before they see/shoot you, if not you're probably screwed anyway. It can take a while to get the area locked down to the point that you feel vaguely safe, if you ever actually feel safe, you're about to get shot.
I have found that a lot of players will try to sneak up on you along the plant lined center rows (dunno what to call them) above and across from kiba, and I usually find people sneaking up from the techlight escalator. If you're getting pinched, run, use cover, but fight on your terms. If you fight on theirs you're probably gonna have a bad time.
Been practicing that run with bolt actions just because they really force you to focus on landing the shot, if you want an example on where I like to hang out / where I'm moving I had a pretty solid raid here: https://youtu.be/lafd0qwiMug

Also if you haven't seen it I'd highly recommend Veritas's video Anatomy of a Firefight part 1, it fundamentally changed how I played Tarkov, and I've been having so much more fun since I started playing aggressively and thinking about the fights as a series of moves / counter moves. If you're finding your self having to react ( I.e taking fire ) Then a lot of what you should be working on is listening. Headsets are a priority, and learn how to avoid making a whole lot of noise , don't slow walk everwhere, but don't hit every ...single.. bush on the way to where ever you're going.

I mean I'd argue customs is a very good place to learn. It's dangerous enough to punish mistakes and generally the crowd only plays customs 1 way. So hot spots are pretty easy to learn and it gives a good chance to understand how players move.

Most of the time on customs , players clear an area and move forward. So if you get behiend them you can stalk them easily without much fear of them setting an ambush.
And there's nothign saying he couldn't, but I feel customs is easier for learning about how to combat players. As there is a lot of cover everwhere, and enough distance to break contact and either flee or re-engage.

I mean any weapon can be used effectively if you learn to adapt your playstyle to it. If you like the mpx use it. Unless you find your weapon to be the issue ( i.e being killed due to armor stopping your rounds etc etc) then there is no reason to change it uness you want to.
An SKS with a redot is a pretty solid go to weapon.
Don't just mag dump, but apply a steady beat of fire. (think 240 rounds per min sorta thing)
