I think they are just playing around with randomization. Nikita mentioned something similar to this. They don´t want you to know where to expect enemies and where not. They also introduced new spawns and routes on Costums while sometimes other old ones are inactive. Before you could have been almost certain that there will spawn Scavs, only their number was mainly unknown to you. But now you can´t estimate their exact location or numbers. Kinda cool, but that can also lead to rare but still random maps that are almost empty. We had that this weekend on Costums. There were only around 6 Scavs on the entire map till the end. And we´ve been looking in every corner till the last minute.

The issues with FOV and zeroing were fixed, once upon a time there was an isssue with aspect ratios , so if you're using some funky aspect ratio that make make a diffrence.

Otherwise all zeroing will be the same across fov.

Keep in mind with how the EFT curently does ballstics, rounds have about 4 imes as much drop as their IRL counter parts.

Iron sights were supposed to be fixxed this last patch, but I've not tested it enough to say exactly what they are doing atm. Before patch the point of aim was actually the base of the rear notch rather than the tip of the front sight post.

Uhmm other than that there was a pretty hard mosin nerf with ergo, so it takes a second for your character "line up the sights" when you ADS

On weapons with lower speed bullets, you will see an increase in the size of the arch. So on the VSS , and other weapons using 'slow' ammo, you may need range your targets mroe carefully.

So zero's for weapons are not perfect.

The current zero system only works on the weapons base line ammo.

While not noticeable under 100m you will notice faster rounds "landing high" despite having a lower zero.

m885 and m995 for example have around 150 Meters per second diffrence.

And what is a 100m zero for 885 is closer to a 200m zero for m995 because the bullet 's arc is being raised for 885 ( raised more) while the m995 shoots flater ( needs to be rose less)

So experiment to see where your ammo hits using offline and a wall .

Especially if you manage to get cover behind one of the blue screens, if you lay behind one of them you can shoot his legs but he can't shoot you.
-and yup, that's usually how I get my kills on him. Load up on hollow point rounds in a MP5, then put a drums worth into his legs.

going for the head or spraying high penetrative ammo usually helps to deal with them, an optic with some is also very benefitial to pick them out one by one from the distance

you just shouldn´t push into them unless you wear a fort and an altyn but even then it is irrational to rush into them

but AI is definitly way more tankier than players

one of the costums boss guards wears an altyn for example

it might helps if you put them on a number

they are easier to throw if you pull the pin out first and aim with them

#

and do not throw them straight into their line of fire if they are already aiming for you, will only end in getting hurt

#

so that is just a last resort option to push them away from you or stun them a bit

i also highly recommend hardcover since they usually use bullets that penetrate well

i don´t, i see no benefits in unrealistic strong colors, 9mm para is actually better, but RIP ammo is quiet expensive and the difference between those common rounds is actually zero to none, besides that you always want to go for headshots with 9mm pistol calibers since their penetration is poor while low end vests are very common, even among scavs

if you need a cheap-as-dirt platform to run on, go for 7,62x39

even PS penetrates well against most opponents and the bullet actually deliver some decent damage and will penetrate a few helmets here and there as well

and when people do bring assault rifles to the field you don´t want to show up with just a pistol, but the game still gives it their well deserved place, because when you are good with them you can try to pop heads when peeking with your pistol, but it still doesn´t come cheap in most cases

It depends on your playstyle really, a lot of players start on Factory for the PvP, but I stuck with Customs myself

Yeah, that way you won't lose all of your gear straight away, or you could learn the maps offline

You can always request Sherpa assistance also, we will do some raids with you, help complete tasks, learn the extracts etc etc

How do I become better as a PMC? I tend to do pretty good raids as scavs but then I usually get killed as a PMC.. I know, I'm everyone's enemy when I'm a PMC, but there has to be more to this.
