on both accounts, higher level trades will eventually sell you armor, Buysing and selling willl raise your $$ amount with a trader, Quest will raise Rep.

Yep trooper doesn't protect stomach, hench the m2.

The combo works well for a relativeyl light weight kit that offers substantual protection from near ambushes and unfortunate enounters with scavs.

nah, It's more a theory thing than anything else. all I have to do is disprove his coif using either player or scav height as a ref to my hold over. If the numbers are not at least close, then there is something else going on.

tldr: If the drag coif is simply .07 then we should be able to zero using a ballstic calc, not only are there issues with the amount of drop suggested passed 300m but when you change the zero to anything other than 50 it throws the trejectory wayyyyy off from the actual POI, so either a: there is something else going on, or B, I read something wrong.

Yeah I talked to no food about 3 weeks ago about finding out how the projectiles move, unless I miss understood him, he really has only focused on dmg and pen factors more than trajectories and so forth.

I mean i've got range cards set up and have a fairly good idea of what it's doing but it's still rough.

You're best bet might be to just shotgun around until you start makin money

I say that because even if someone has gear shotguns will hurt most of the time, unless you're just dumping hits right into body armor

at 300 yards we have 5.3 ish mils of correction, that's 153 Cm from 50m - 300m

#

Even if tarkov zero's for default ammo, (lps in this case) we only have an mv difference of like 10m/s This isn't enough to put the numbers closer to your chart by any sort of close enough margin.

#

If your chart was correct, then we could hit a 300m target with a 50m zero in the upper stomach, instead the bullet lands closer to his shin/boots.

my test was in late 2017, the ranging page keys were not added then. It was accurate back then. Because all weapons had zeroing at 0 meters.

More or less. if you find your self in those situations often I really suggest playing through as a scav when you can and paying attention to how players move, where they die at, and listen for area's of action as they are pretty "common" hot spots. Use that info to alter your gameplay decisions as a PMC.

Asking yourself " What could I have done differently " rather than" WHAT? HOW DID HE KILL ME" is a big thing in this game (not implying you do that, but many folk do)

IMO the goal is to be proactive, not reactive in this game.

I'd argue that factory is more punishing, at least on woods you can run and have good chance at losing someone in foliage. Factory is a tough one for new players because pushing is so effective currently plus spawns are very predictable. Distance is going to be your friend early on until you figure out gunfighting

It's usually best to sell stock functional weapons and sell the other parts on their own. The weapons section is a bit tough right now, especially since the real worth of the weapon is hard to gauge.

It can have an use, you can smash through armor sooner.

Like for example you have a kedr with 900rpm and you fire at a damaged armor vest then you will get through a tiny bit sooner

also cover penetration could help.

but as you seen yourself the 9x18 rounds are close to each other in penetration so it is not that much difference.

@bold kernel If you want trebble, take Comtac. Gssh for relatively normal sound. That other headset for more bassy sound. And I like the Sport headset the most because it's pretty much a better Gssh. But also a bit more expensive. Fast headset is similar to that one other headset from what I heard.

Factory is honestly your best bet, just run for the office hall with a shotgun and a few mags worth of ammo and go from there.

Barring that, stalking the dorms or construction site in customs is pretty good.

Just get into the habit of aiming low with the shotgun, usually getting a full shell of buck in the ankles is enough to stagger a fort player.

It's all about being aggressive, you don't have the armor or the ammo for a shootout, you just need to get in there and git em

I've done a couple but just can't seem to get the watch from the tanker in Customs, I've got the key but no matter what I try, as I am getting out of the area I get picked off and killed. But, if I do the exact same thing but don't get the watch, I don't get killed. It's like Scav's get harder once you complete the first part of a task, then having to escape..

That's more than likely your gear fear getting the better of you. I sat around for 5-10 minutes when doing that quest just to make sure the area was clear. And then after I got the watch, I sat around for another 10 minutes to make sure nobody was watching me

If you take more than 4 or 5 shots to kill the sniper scav and the 2-4 around construction/oil tanks there’s a pretty good chance players or player scavs are going to come check what’s up, so you either need to have no hesitation and just try till it works or play it very slow after killing and maybe camp out to see if anyone else shows up.

@here I managed to do it, following the tips above! Slowly slowly, managed to clear the area quickly and grab, run and wait... then move - the closest was ZB-1011 or Dorms V-Ex - so, I managed to find $5,000 on a Scav I killed at the beginning so I thought it would be rude not to!

Okay, im a bit confused on something. I was on shoreline using a fully modded mp5 with 9x19 pst gzh ammo. I snuck up on a very geared player who wasnt looking at me and began unloading on him. I pumped him with about ~30 rounds (had a 50 round mag) which maybe 10 or so hit his head while he was facing me, and he didnt die. It looked like he was wearing a standard black Striker helmet (not sure if that can have a face shield.) Can anyone explain to me what I shouldve done differently to have gotten that kill? This has been a constant issue where the ammo im using is said (by the wiki) to have decent armor pen but I keep ending up using almost a full mag and still die on other players. Is it lag, the ammo, or me?
