but I rarely go into close range maps like factory , labs etc

labs is a quick loot and leave ground if ur lucky enough. especially residential unit zone, u can spawn there, immediately hit the ammo zone, instantly go back to the stairs where u spawned and go extract from elevator, literally no one can stop u from doing that if u get the stairs spawn

i have one ammo case full of each for these 3 rounds, only storing 40+ pen ammo, yet i barely,rarely ever use any, my go-to rounds are 7.62x51 or 7n42 zubilo/FMJ SX on almost all raids

Painkillers tend to take a lot of hydration, same with certain foods.
Best to look at the stats before chugging something like condensed milk (-65 hydration btw).
Analgims do -19 hydration so that could have been it.

Hey sir, you can only modify your weapons when you are off the raid, in stash. And rusted bloody key is for marked rooms where you can find a sacrifice circle like in your hideout, there is good loot there, and most of the time those keys cost alot due of nature of good loot there, happy to help you bro, have a nice night.

Rusted bloody is for a quest. It's possible to find rare keys in that room but I think it's very nerfed

No the Surv12 field surgical kit cannot heal thorax. Neither the head nor the thorax can be repaired once they are destroyed(blacked out).

Biggest difference is that in PVE you play against other AI PMC, and there is no real players, and on PVP PMC and Scavs can be real people, in both modes of the game you can escape the tarkov as intended, and there is no prestige for pve players If Im not mistaken.

and raiders are pretty on par with ai pmcs, i think i find them to be a bit more aggressive than pmcs though

For pve it doesnt really matter as much because your fighting ai however you probably want something full auto with good mag size like an m4 or nl545

it takes around like 5ish mins for them to spawn but its usually only one group

they start coming in numbers around 10-15 mins in raid

i encountered them probably over 50 times and trust me i tried to quickly peek and shoot them for like 7 raids, i got instant head eyes every time

then i just realized i can just not give a f about their voicelines and sprint away

thats what happened to me on my first try, tried M1A with ultra nosler to two tap, i didnt use a range finder and miscalculated my zeroing distance, i shot him 5 times and he was waiting during that, then he just killed me, in the endgame it just says "gunshot wound" and not even tells me what bullet it is

you have to play very slow and let the black div push you, look at the terminal map on the tarkov wiki to see how many spawn per area. Only move past after you've killed all of the BD in the area. There's also videos giving good spots to sit and a general way to clear your way through terminal

how often should i be running? i always spend majority of the raid running because im paranoid that walking around makes me an easy target, but im not sure if thats actually the case

Good rule of thumb is if people can see you but not hear you, you should run. If they can not see you but can hear you if you run you should walk.

So like dense forest, indoors, when it's very dark, when you are behind high fences etc, you should walk and regain stamina. Open fields, crossing roads, stuff like that, you wanna run.

running makes you a louder target, specially the more weight you have. theres not a problem with running but making sure you know where you are running is the big thing. leveling up your endurance while low level is a great way to keep more stamina. at the same time being slow and covert (kidding cap and slow walking or aiming down sights and slow walking helps level up your covert movement) its really just open areas you want to avoid in general. no one wants to get caught in the middle of a road with no where to hide. thats the only other advice i have is always have an escape route if you plan to run.

Yeah movement and positioning go very hand in hand and is a large part of why new players struggle, and from other's POV why they are so easy to kill.

Like in general if you make sure you have enough stamina to cross whatever open area you are about to cross and make a mental note beforehand of where is my closest hard cover if I start getting shot you are gonna struggle way less.

Also a lot of newer players I have seen either panic or like stop running and try to shoot back when they get caught in the open. Generally this is the worst thing you can do, sometimes if you are in a huge field or something you have no option but 95% of the time your best option is to immediately change direction and run to your nearest hard cover and try to fight from there. Stopping to try to shoot back gives the other person a very very easy shot...

Yeah it's a grind at the start, especially with how inertia + low skills makes your character feel it's very weird compared to other games. Really just comes down to doing enough raids, you getting better each raid plus the big rng means eventually you'll get it done 🙂

Korund is the best budget friendly because you can buy the armor from prapor at lvl4

Tier 5 plates you unlock after questing a lot with peacekeeper and skier, i personally like the resilience of the defender armor, buy one get some tier 5s in there and its good to go.

No, the devs have not said such a thing. They have said that PvE will eventually have mods, but it doesn't yet and any sort of modding isn't allowed by the game's terms.

Yes mods are not allowed and if by some magical reason bsg spots your game modded even if you play it offline/pirated your account will get banned. They are very rigid about modifing game files. As soon you modify a game file your account will be on the hammer roll.

i got it done on first try by simply rushing inside health resort

if you get the spawn next to paracord extract, thats the fastest one to get inside health resort

the cottage one isnt that bad either, and theres also one more spawn close to smugglers base/car extract, thats also one of the best spawns

if you want you can wait until 15 mins left to guarantee it, but i only recommend it if you have a red rebel and a paracord
