I left Pipe's rig bc I was already full. Should I try and get it next time I run into them? Or is the CPC good if I throw lvl 6 plates in it?

I've been running the Osprey MK4A with lvl 6 plates I swiped from a slick, should I swap those to the CPC so I cut down on weight? Or stick with the MK4A because it has more armor coverage?

i would personally use the osprey for the extra armor coverage, but if the weight bothers you then the CPC isn't tooo bad, you just lose out on that extra stomach and throat and upper arm protection

yeah i'd say 15 lvl is only for a little, small percentage of items. the majority of the flea market unlocks at 20 and 25, some items go as far as 30,35,40 but 20 is probably enough for half of flea market

More reliable please, you have no idea how many toolboxes and tech crates ive checked. Haven't spotted one. I had the same issue last wipe and i went through hundreds of filing cabinets, found two, not a single in a toolbox, for weeks on end. Eventually traded them with others, as there were no FiR requirements in the hardcore wipe.

I've done streets only solo this wipe and not some giga chad but honestly, I think people are exaggerating how bad it is. Just listen to sounds and expect there to be someone in your building (most of the time there isn't). Move from cover to cover and don't slow walk on an open street and you're probably fine. If you're sprinting across the street 100 metres away from cover to cover it's unlikely someone will be able to gun you down to zero

Can anyone explain this to me? I was using the Mosin with SNB (penetrates all armor classes), and hit my shot right below the neck. The game said his armor absorbed 74 and he took 74 damage (I assume to the thorax). Is my only kill shot in this situation then his face?

I don't think he knew I was there, but he ended up moving while I was still getting into position. If ya'll have any tips I'd appreciate it. According to db4tarkov, Mosin SP BT ammo will one hit kill the thorax on armors 3 or below... but I'm guessing he was at least armor level 4, so that wouldn't have made a difference I think

try dragging onto the specific limb that has the bleed. additionally, if you interrupt the healing animation (like by animation-cancelling by pressing left click), it will not heal the bleed. you MUST let the animation finish normally to have medkits fix status effects

And when you dont know what to do, fill the time inbetween with watching the field guides.

Hey i was wondering what kind of guns i can run for which i can buy good ammo.

Im level 15 and i ran out of all my 5.45 BP PS BT rounds.
Now i can only buy crap 5.45.
Should i run the Prapor level 2 gun (cheap as val looking one) i think i can put decent ammo in it

Also are there traders i can aim to unlock which will provide me with better ammo for the ak guns

ammo sources are super limited now you basically cant buy or craft anything good until max traders or deep in the quest line and level 3 workbench. your best bet is trying to look for it or just running a gun you have good ammo for
