i would put a cms kit, painkiller and gingy keychain if you find one on your scav raids in your case and then when you unlock the flea you can buy all the things you need for the beta case barter to get a bigger case but its really expensive

but if your using good ammo then i would put ammo in your case instead of a painkiller, just depends whats more valuable

Hey! I am brand new to the game like 10 hours give or take a few kinda new. I have been playing for the last two days and played with a friend of mine for most of today but I seem to have a problem with locating exit locations, I am getting the hang of them on customs but even with having a map and everything I cant seem to find where to really go if the exit is anything but worker trailer exit. any tips?

customs is one of the more simple maps, its basically a long line

if you spawn on one side of the map, your extracts on the other, and vice versa

you should use the offline mode and explore the map a bit if youre struggling to find where extracts are

the closest guaranteed extract with no key required is zb-1011

Typically your extracts are on the opposite side of the map you spawned on

There are some that are midway through, but can be unavailable at times

Granted two injections instead of one but in a PvE environment you very rarely lose a fire fight, it happens but more often than not the programming of the bots makes them either completely inept or they just lock in on your skull full auto

Yeah labyrinth is a great event overall but it's pretty lame as far as PVP goes. Lots of crabwalking and gimmicky shit like impact nades and underbarrel launchers
If you're new I'd just focus on tasking, all the good shit in the game is locked behind tasks anyways

Cheap ammo usually has high flesh dmg and low pen so aim for the legs, do scav raids to learn maps and get free stuff, and try to get someone in the lfg channel to show you the ropes

I would do a few offline practice mode raids to get the feel for things at 1st, can show you how if it isn't intuitive. Happy to go over some super basic stuff if you'd like. For beginning quests you'll want to group up with someone or people lvl 20 or below so you are in a lower level lobby for the 1st map. That way giga chads aren't dunking on you

So, I want to complete tasks in Tarkov and one of those ways that I wanna do is hide for a long time, as other players have likely either died or extracted by that point.

The issue is, I don't know the best stratergy for that, because I know if I hide in a bush for a long time, my "karma" will go down and Partisan will hunt me for future raids, which I don't want to deal with.

i go on loot runs and i can go the whole raid without seeing a single pmc

Dont hide, shit will eventually happens, go loot, kill some scav, and dodge pmc if u are not confident, being mobile is way better than hiding in 1 spot, scavs and pmcs might come and check

In the end u will have "kill" task and u have to get ur ass out and kill people. Just engage even in normal tasks to train urself with the gun

This shouldn't come off as a surprise, but Tarkov is way more fun when you actually play the game and more rewarding, too. Like just now, I was trying to do a quest from Ref where I had to kill 5 scavs with an AUG and stumbled upon a PMC with chad loot. With this, I just immediately ran out to the nearest extract and got out. I didn't complete the task, but I didn't care, there's always next time and the loot made me heavy, too.

Crazy thing is, I was level 10 and am like, "Bro, I got all this gear at level 10? Insane."

I would save waiting till raid end for tasks that are damn near impossible for you to do. Once you’ve tried p much everything i.e. night raids, getting friends, avoiding fights etc then hide. Where you hide depends on the map. Just try to pick somewhere out of the way, preferably in a building

region matters for where you want to play from, so if you are in europe and you buys the US edition u cant launch the game in europe, when it comes to the editions more expensive is better than the cheaper ones but id say buy the standard first and then you can upgrade later for only the price difference

tarkov is kinda expensive so its best to see if you actually like it and u are willing to grind it out cuz it has a steep learning curve
