Accept all your tasks - Start in Ground Zero

Head into a practice mode (risk free), toggle on some AI scavs, and try to get a feel for the map, movement, gunplay, scav killing, etc.
When you're ready - try to scav into one of those maps and actually get some loot out.
Then you can take your PMC in and try to do some quests or loot or simply survive. (this is the only point where you risk your own gear)
Good luck - you will die, try to have fun with it.

think of woods and the lumbermill as the middle of the map, from sniper rock you can see a lot of extracts in the game and going to either left or right of the mill and straight down the lake and youll end up at multiple extracts, just becomes figuring out which one you need to take

It will be boring, however you will learn it fast

And a general rule of thumb, the exfiltrations that are available to you, are always midway, or on the otherside of the map

ik this is the dumbest question ever but how do you tell the difference between scavs and pmcs? pretty much every scav run i do i end up thinking i see a scav then i get headshot and find out it in fact was not a scav🥲🥲

therapist just gets you your stuff a bit quicker and holds onto it for longer
Id only really insure with therapist for the longer holding time
