and the map is pretty beginner friendly imo too since it's relatively small and you're not really going to get sniped from 500 feet away like on woods

a lot of the same principles apply to other maps: know the spawns near you so you where other players will be in the beginning. Clearing your side of the map, or at least well enough you can logically predict where the other players that spawned on the other side could be at certain times. Don't get caught up looting if you're questing. Grab a few things that you see, but you can always scav or make specific loot runs to get money/hideout items

As far as I know, buying it from their own website is the only legit way of obtaining the game at this time (no steam release yet for example).
Buy the standard edition for now and upgrade to a higher tier during a sale if you feel it is worth it (price of previous editions you bought are deducted from higher tier packages, local tax is not included in the listed price).

Biggest difference between the editions is the gear provided to you at the start of each wipe (will be mailed to you in game if you upgrade mid wipe), stash space and the size of your secure container.
