I spent a bunch of time poring over the data, and if you're mid-level and okay w/ Lvl 4 armor, then Kiba Arms Titan ballistic plate is optimal for the price.

It has a 0.3/0.8 min/max ricochet chance, an 80 degree richochet angle, and is fairly lightweight with low-ish blunt throughput
Plus it costs like $20k on flea

The Sordins and the Razors have the same range of 1.15 iirc but differing levels of sound distortion

The tac sports are like 1.3 range but with a higher distortion

Early on your best options are:
9mm guns like the Saiga-9 or MP5 have no recoil, they do no damage so you have to aim for the face, but they can be great laser beams
Mosin from Prapor with SP BT is great if you like bolt actions,
KEDR or PPSH are both good for close-range high-damage guns you can spray legs or face with.
You can always go super cheap with the double-barrel. 5.25 buckshot is the best and only shotgun round worth running early on, aim at the face.
AKS-74UB is unlocked after Prapors debut quest, easy to mount optics and tac devices but you have no good ammo to buy for it. Good 5.45 is easy to find (PP, BP, BT, BS) though it's easy to go for headshots with bad ammo.

to leave the raid, with the items you acquired you need to find the extract points available to you, which is dependent on your spawn (double tapping O will show your extracts) everytime you die in raid as your PMC or your SCAV you will lose everything on you, except the items in your secure container on your PMC...so yeaaa you need to get new guns if you die. a good way to start leaning maps is just look at Mapgenie maps and go scaving, and if you extract you can take that kit on your PMC and its basically free

tor-2 with a faceshield is good, t3 helmet with ear protection and a t3 faceshield. The faceshield has jaw and eye protection. The only downside is the beathing is heavier than the other faceshields

personally these are my only changes to the default keybinds

• unbind melee attack and set melee to v press (double clicking v attacks and puts away the melee, you REALLY dont want that in a middle of a fight should you resort to melee)
• unbind sidearm and set 1 to quick swap press. You would only be using your pistol in emergency, double clicking it will take just as long as normal swap and the arm stamina cost isnt much.
• if you have a mouse with side buttons (i assume most gaming mice has two side buttons), i have them set shoulder transition and the other one to push to talk

these are just my personal changes though you might be comfortable with something else
