Player scavs will very rarely shoot you. I normally just auto pilot and ignore scavs during a scav run.

Although sometimes you may get accidentally killed. I accidentally killed a player scav last night on streets in a bit of a panic.

Unless you hit -6 rep, they wont shoot you on sight

AI Scavs will only turn hostile to you if you turn into a traitor, IE hitting, but not killing another scav.
PScavs are different as it's actual players who make the decision to kill you

If you come near a scav boss without +6 rep, they will kill you & their guards will turn hostile to you, with the exception of factory where if tagilla aggros to you, every scav in the area will also turn hostile as they act like his guards

Also if you are actually looking for PvP or have to defend yourself, carry a propital a zagustin and the best current ammo for your gun or play style

There’s “very bad” ammo that in the right weapon build and with the right player, can be as deadly as top tier ammo

US GS is a good example, it reduces recoil so much it allows you to highly supress a target

Well it is expensive, I grabbed EOD of years back in a discount. The container helps a lot and well you get to play arena and maybe the trader rep helps if you have 6-8 hours to progress quickly early wipe, but that’s it

whats the point of armor repair kit. i was repairing an armor, it said it would need 38+ points or armor repair kit to repair it. if an armor repair kit costs 340k that means one point is like 280+ rubles. so it would cost me 10k+ rubles to repair the armor with a repair kit, while mechanic repaired it for 6k rubles AND it has better repair quality than the repair kit

and let me say i dont regret one bit

for someone that is new and need to scav because game is hard, i suggest doing car extracts withj your pmc on all the maps that have them, you can get your scav rep to 6 pretty easily this way, just go in naked, maybe a pistol for scavs, take some rubles up your ass and go car extract, even a run throiugh will give you the scav rep. car extracts give less and less scav rep every time you take it on the same map but its still worth it

better scav rep means you will not havbe to wait allmost at all for scav time

then you might think why are these armors so high in the tier list, they dont even have plates in them, well its because these are the onlyt armors in the game I think that have LV4 aramid all around the body (except the yellow one, back on that one has Lv2 aramid BUT its front is a bit better than the green one because its titanium and material also matters.) lv4 aramid all around you means you wont need to be hit directly in the plates for the lv4 defenses to be effective. you ever notived how tanky the sccavs are with these armors?

Then you aren't flanking anything if you're running into both scavs and players lol. Woods can be safely traversed. You just have to know how and to think a bit. Know where scavs spawn, where high activity areas are, and do your best to avoid them or skirt around them

I think my issue is I try to maximize how many tasks I do

I keep thinking I can run and do one then then go to the car extract or whatever but I should just do one thing then get the fuck out lol
