If you want to guarantee profit, you can always enter the cycle of scavving and offline-PMCing while your scav is on cooldown. Scavving can only make you money, you can't lose anything. Offline is great for learning maps, cache runs, and getting good at killing scavs and scav bosses. This cycle is great to simply build up lots of money while learning - which makes online PMCing far easier.

Ergo determines how fast you can aim down sights with a weapon. If you have a laser and practice hipfire you shouldn't really be needing to ADS in close combat engagements.

When engaging from distance the ADS time doesn't matter as much.

Quick information along with that ammo chart, generally you either want to use ammo with no penetration at all and high dmg and aim for the legs or face on high fire rate guns. The other option is to run ammo with high pen and low dmg and aim for the chest/head area with rifles.
