The game is more cpu & ram hungry than anything. If you have even a mid tier GPU from 6-8 years ago you should be ok. Going from 16 to 32gb of ram there's a pretty big performance difference

u can also kinda do whatever you want but you're partially limited by level to be able to reliably get certain gear

wipes reset your whole account except your hour count and things added by your addition of tarkov you purchased

next wipe is somewhere in the next 6 days

probably mostly just focus on combat and learning maps, if you don't want to worry about the events (scavs with grenade launchers everywhere rn), I would hop into an offline raid and just learn the maps, namely customs and woods

Learn maps and extracts. Gunplay you can learn in offline mode with pve enabled. You don't lose anything if you die or use any ammo.

Learning/changing keybinds if needed. Learn player spawns is good too

Look around, find, and run at the huge plateau rock right in the center of the map, circle it until you find the line of boulders pointing south, follow them and you'll be able to see the plane crash from the southernmost part of the boulder line.

Streamers are either PvP nuts who kill for experience, or they run tasks super efficiently (And they play 24/7). They used to know exactly what tasks they would have to do, and they'd know the most efficient way to complete them. Now, with the likelyhood of tasks changing and a huge new map, I doubt many will make it to max traders that fast. Either way for normal players - the more you play and focus tasks, the faster you level.

Don't worry too much, that's just an event that will end soon. When it comes to guns when I'm low level, I sell most every gun and either buy UMP-45s (buy Black Knives at Fence and trade to Peacekeeper) or 7.62x39 guns like SKS or VPO-136 to use with PS ammo. The main reason for that is because those guns have relatively good, cheap, purchasable ammo and are quite nice and easy to modify and attach sights or other attachments

Also, because everything is wiping soon, all that you can do in these last several days is get some game experience, nothing else carries over. So if you'd like to learn maps and get better at killing scavs, without any risk, then just play offline mode. You skip most of the craziness that's happening with these events and you can focus on building up some map knowledge, and you don't have to worry about losing your stuff or re-gearing.

your scav begins with random (typically shitty gear). You can keep anything that you leave with on that scav run. Your PMC is your 'main character'. On that character you can progress most quests, level up skills, and choose what you use in the raid (by buying it). There are other nuances as well that i'm sure the good people of this discord will elucidate you to.

another small piece of advice that i will share with you because it wasn't explained to me with enough importance: INSURE EVERYTHING YOU ENTER RAID WITH. Though it may seem like a large and unnecessary extra expense, at the low level that you are at, almost nothing you bring into a raid will be lifted out of that raid by anyone.

yeah I cant even do some of my beginning tasks cause I cant find loot and dont have flea yet

a lot of the beginning tasks need those items to be Found in Raid, and they won't be if you buy it off flea

so yeah, I wouldn't bother with beginning tasks until wipe

just learn the layout of maps and practice your leg meta

Is there a huge difference in comtac 4 compared to tactical sport?

aka is it worth the extra 34000 roubles
