theres a couple options, assuming you dont have access to m856a1 or to m80 and dont want to build 200k+ guns you can run a ump but be carefull to mostly go for headshots with it, you can lightly mod a 5.45 ak and use pp or bp ammo from flea in it, should defeat class 4 armor pretty efectively. and lastly you can try to run a 762x39 weapon with ps like a modded akm or ak 103 but thats gonna be on the more expensive side and perhaps less effective due to still bad recoil

oh, also you can run shotguns with flechette thats pretty efective in the right range

I also use VOIP to say at least hello and run around in knife all the time to not look like a threat. With all that I have very chill scav runs.

any tips on increasing scav rep? I started this wipe without thinking about it and am currently at -0.30 which is really annoying

i got it to -0.2 but then i killed a scav because i panicked while looting and then i suddenly had -0.30

Vehicle extractions will give you +0.25 reputation if you've never used them before
Subsequent usage on the same map will halve the reputation gain but it's still a lot.

So Customs vehicle exfil +0,25 first time, +0.12 second time, +0.06 third time

Swap to Woods vehicle exfil +0,25 first time, +0.12 second time, +0.06 third time

Do it on the 4 maps you have a full 1

Not sure what level you are, but when you can put a docs case in your container for keys & Intel items, it's a good idea to throw some roubles in there as well so you can always take vehicle extracts
