@flat arrow one of the best things I did - and it took me like 3-4 wipes to get there - is to try to take advantage of trader weapons/attachments as much as possible. i've found I had a much better time when I need 1-2 things off the flea, not trying to build to the flea.
also appreciated what I find in weapons crates much more.

@flat arrow the most important thing is it's a tradeoff between flesh damage and armor penetration. there's other notes there on fragmentation, bleed chance, velocity, etc. that are also important, and there's ballistics stuff that are going to be in those videos
maybe those aren't the most important thing. but combining that information with where armor worn/helmets/etc.
and how the damage model in the game works (damage starts to bleed when limbs are blacked, for example, or fragmentation/critical hits)
RIP ammo might be perfectly fine, but it's going to just annoy a PMC in class 4 armor if all you do is mag dump their chest.
7.62PS will do work for you all wipe though, and there's a few good old standby ammos that will do it

@flat arrow what's nice about edit preset is once you have things discovered, you can play with the various mount combinations needed to get you there, instead of just staring at a whole bunch of mounts not knowing what sights go on the mounts
