Now i don't know the context of why you were in yellow or who you were watching or what happened before. Or even how long the raid went on/how many people you already killed

But i personnaly suggest first of all checking both your sides before going out a door when you open it, then i would suggest not running trough high traffic areas and instead, keeping aim on the hallways but that is if you need to walk trough the hallway, i would always avoid the open hallway places for as long/as much as possible. In your case, i would take the staircase which was to the left of the room you were in

The main thing regarding running around in the "open" (doesnt have to be literally open, long sightlines exist in some narrower areas as well) is, always have a purpose to move, and if you don't have a good reason, then you don't need to move
