so before this wipe i ran the game at high settings with 60-80 fps but after this wipe dropped i cant get anything higher then 23-35 frames. i can use the highest or the lowest settings but no matter what it all gives me these frames. no other game has seen negative performance and no guides have helped and im not sure what to do anymore. i just tried to get back into the game but i cant play at 25 fps

We suggest the following workaround. It will allow you to install without using the launcher directly.

They're older drivers but are more stable, used for video editors.

so i confirm it works "i deleted all the files related to Tarkov" deinstalled the launcher , then started downloading the File, meanwhile downloading i installed the new launcher, i created A folder for the game, after that extracted it to that folder and via launcher launched the game when i entered the launcher the launcher version was already the newest. so yes all working fine

Try wind+r - type msconfig - ok, then go to services - hide all microsoft services - turn off all and chose eft realted stuff and very important battle eye - ok on bottom and try again

worked for me once, may work for you too, this will turn off all unnecessary apps that may cause problem

Either try to start the launcher with admin rights or Open Task Manager > Performance > Resource Monitor at the bottom > CPU > Associated Handles > Look for the file with the search bar and see which process uses it > Right-click > End process. Also try disabling all antivirus software, especially Windows Defender, temporarily, if this is for installing the game. Also, add the game and launcher directories to your antivirus' exclusion/whitelist to prevent any further issues.

Unfortunately the problem is your RAM. You will need at least 12GB but ideally 16 or more. You could try adding page file (virtual memory) to an SSD and that will improve things.

Hey for the last week I have been able to play factory then when the update came out I was able to play. Interchange, Woods and factory but I am still unable to play Customs. I'm wonder is there anything that could have been currupted in the files that I may have to redownload. Downloading via browser can be a pain, better get a download manager like JDownloader 2 (adware-free setup) or IDM (30 day trial available). You should get full speed with those two, I use them all the time

If none of those tips work, on that forum page, and if you've waited a bit for it, like an hour, you might need BSG to change your email to a provider that doesn't block the emails, as that is usually the cause of this problem.

Does ping matter? I normally use South African servers and they are alright but when I attempt to play with my American friend I will be able to load into the raid for 10 or so seconds before being disconnected.

The only way you suddenly get region locked to the Asian servers is if you log in from that region.

There is no way to fix this if that is what happened, and you'll need a new account.

The only way this happens is either you logged in while physically in that region or used a network connection based in that region, such as a VPN or proxy.

Ehm... Installing from the launcher gives me a checksum error. if I install off the link it repairs, lets me open the game and it instantly closes with a unity crash or absolutely no indication sometimes.

Could be for various reasons, you may have non-optimal graphic settings, insufficient hardware that doesn't meet minimum specs, etc.

The biggest things is make sure you meet minimum specs, namely 16gb+ of RAM

For graphic settings try turning off PostFX, turning on autoram cleaner, and turning on "Only use physical cores"

There are some other adjustments you can make but those are the big ones.
