I have not played in a long while(been too busy irl) but today I am getting into the game again but when I start the game I get a prompt that says my nickname is too short, and when I try to enter Preed again, it says it is already used. I specifically bought this edition to get my nickname secured, so what is going on? It says Preed when I log in on the website, but it won't work in the game?

alright gamers, serious question here, whenever i load into a raid be it scav or not, different servers after ~2 minutes i get "anticheat connection lost" and i dont know what to do, tried whitelisting tarkov executables to my firewall and my anti-virus, tried completly disabling firewall+antivirus, deleted the Battleye folder from the EFT main folder, nothing helped out, i still get the message and when it happens twice and i try to load back into the raid it just instantly kicks me out for "server connection lost", please help

Sounds more like a UX bug, for example that it's evaluating an empty name.

Your player name did not exist at that point either way so it was probably reacting to something else.

there might be an underlying reason why you got logged out, like your account may be hacked/compromised and so they security system logged you out making you know somethings wrong

if you can login via website, that clears out the "account" status

Try reinstall the launcher and set full access rights for it. Need to set full rights for the current user (folder properties, "Security" tab) for the game folder and for the launcher folder.

I guess there's no harm to try things in the mean time while support takes their time to reply to your ticket.

Team killing is not against any form of TOS/Rule in-game, there is no punishment for doing it (within the game that is)

Offenders are however punished with a block from LFG on OEFT if caught doing it, and i would assume the same applies to any other gathering place they may use if they do it there.

If you have good ram likt trident z 3600mhz dual channel 8gb (16gb), some motherboards will only run ram at 2133mhz, tanking your fps. Restart your pc and spam delete button to get into your bios. Go to memory frequency and enable xmp, choose prfile 1. My RAM was running at 2133mhz. Now it runs at the speed its supposed to. 3600mhz, and it almost doubled my fps on reserve and customs.

My gpu isnt half what his is and I get 120 a lot. RAM fix doubled my fps. The mobo had my 3600mhz ram running at 2133mhz lol

My issue it i get into a raid and after a few minutes i get an error ANTICHEAT CONNECTION FAILED then i manage to get back in and another 5 minutes later i get kicked and lose all my gear as the game thinks the match is finished or iv aborted it. There is a VERY VERY VERY small possibility it's a HWID ban, I recommend you confront the person you bought the PC from to find out whether they have been using cheats on EFT or any other related games utilizing the BE Anti-Cheat.

There is also a chance a cheat from another game can trigger the BE Anticheat, one of my community members have cheats on a single player game and that got triggered by BE so, keep that in mind.

I'm having an issue of receiving SMS verification code on both website/launcher, I did entered the phone number in correctly and waited for more than 15 minutes and still received no code. And as far as i see, i don't think this is only a problem to me as i tried to contact to BSG support team both on website and the email as well ([e-mail]), waited for 2 days and the issue hasn't solved itself yet. And when someone from EFT support team replied to my email and they asked me to directly contact to them to confirm the account that is being locked by SMS verification code, which i sent them a reply and still waiting for reply. yes, the live file shouldn't be saving as tmp, it deletes itself after checking files so you need to dl again. the checksum fix you've seen on youtube is out dated as of a week ago.

i just had a really nice Raid got a kill on Reshalla the marked room and finished a punisher task. got into PVP by fortress ran away becasue i wanted to hand in the pistol came back later half dead extracted ZB-13 and when the timer hit 0 screen faded to black and game froze. after 5 minutes i closed the game and started it back up it told me i was still in raid and that i could reconnect. i got put back into a previous finished raid end screen twice after wich i just confrimed exit raid and i was back in the main menu without having either of the tasks completed or any of my FIR gear and only the gear that i had before starting the raid? what the heck?

fixed it by reinstalling the launcher and wiping everything that was left from the old launcher (temp'n stuff)

For weeks now i havent been able to see any scavs AT ALL during offline raid (horde) enabled. this is really sad because my gf loved playing on this mode to gain her confidence up to maybe try and online game sometime. is there a way i can get horde mode activated again on maps?
