I am having issues with installation since the most recent patch they released today. Originally the launcher reported that EFT was corrupted and needed to be repaired. The repair was not working so I went with a fresh install of both the launcher and Tarkov. I am able to install the launcher, but now I am alternating between the "The process cannot access the file 'F\EFT\lock' because it it being used by another process." and the "The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found" errors.

I have not had an issue with Tarkov until now. I have more than enough space on my SSD.

Has anyone dealt with this before or is this just update/update day shenanigans?

I'd advise to make it so that you only invite players in your friends list, that way if it does happen you at least have all the names to report.

Ram usage is normal, I wouldn't worry about that at all. Due to the complex running of the game it eats through CPU & Ram like it's candy. Could even give Chrome a run for it's money.

Ensure that using Physicl Cores is disabled in the game settings, as that's an Intel only requirement. And make sure that the game is running on an SSD of some kind.
What we need to know from the stutering is if it's Graphical, or if you are having network stuttering, which can happen during gunfights.

Secure containers, the Compass, Melee weapons, and Armbands can not be looted from your body upon death as long as they are equipped in their appropriate slot, and do not need to be insured. While these items may not be lootable if you have died with them equipped, accidents do happen. No one is in a server until you click the ready button and go to the loading screen. Everyone on that group screen is who is looking for a raid at that time that you can play with (Server ping I believe/server selections in the launcher)

E.G. You play with me, and you are in the west coast of US it doesn't matter, I'm in the EU and you'll join my servers first so you could end up +200pingand get kicked often

hey guys, thought id ask here. I keep getting random unity crashes for no apparent reason. Like on any map, at any time, for any reason. I'll get the unity crash icon come up, and then the game will close, the launcher will reappear asking if I want to report it, which I always click "yes" to and it always tells me that ive reached my "limit", and then I restart the game and rejoin the raid. Not sure what to do. I've done reinstalls, integrity checks, /sfc checks of my disks, i've even done a fresh windows install, drivers and all. I'm honestly at a loss. When you hit half second + is mostly death in tarkov vs most games. So with audio, connection issues really ruin the game. Is there any info regarding future patch that could improve insane server delay.. Ingame stats looks fine, tho i can take whole pc delay. Not really sounds like a lot of work for a few extra fps. If you’ve got good specs I recommend setting everything to high instead of ultra, and put antialiasing to TAA instead of TAA High. Also put the quality distance all the way down instead of all the way up

Reformatitng is most likely not needed, @hearty lake & @naive cave you most liley just need to do a cache clearance to bring the games file size down. When updates happen they can make duplicates that increase loading times

Theres a big difference if fps is uncapped or not. Im trying to get the game as smooth as possible. The standard settings was set to 23Hz ingame with no other way of changeing it besides editing the local.ini file and set it to 144 hz. Theres a huge difference

I've been trying to spawn in a raid and the game just keeps crashing before spawn

I keep on getting a bug of perpetual loading times. This happens when I buy a item off of the market. I usually buy the item and immediately close out of the market. This bugs my game and makes everything load. If i try to go into raid to see if it fixes it will just make me load indefinitely. Sometimes i cant even exit out of the game and have to manually close it. I've seen some people have this bug....

The Launcher is currently out of order for some people, no one knows the reason. We've had people try every option under the sun and it simply will not work, we are guessing that there's an issue with old or offline auth and download servers that are not being purged from the list. The only option we can offer is to contact BSG directly will al lthe information

I've seen some debates in the community regarding BattlEye kicking players for using Hyper-V (virtualization). This is correct. BattlEye started doing this early last year. (some more information can be found here: https://twitter.com/thebattleye/status/1289027672186720263 )

If you have players who run Hyper-V, they can temporarily disable it by disabling the following services in Windows whilst playing Tarkov:

• vmconnect.exe
• vmcompute.exe
• vmms.exe
• vmwp.exe
• mmc.exe

As to why this is not allowed is due to several cheats using Hyper-V to run exploits in the game. And while some players will be angry about this, unfortunately the same players who might say "You're not doing enough to stop cheaters".
