I had this issue before and this helped me . TRY THIS solution to this problem. Right click BSG Launcher, and click "Properties." Then click the compatibility tab. Check the box that says "Compatibility mode for Windows 8" then click run the program in compatibility mode. Run under recommended settings. Type in your information, then click Authorize. You should receive the email.

This is a bug already fixed in the next patch. The preliminar patch notes mention it being fixed. I have this issue too, and testing it on ETS seems fixed. Looking forward for the patch. 🙂

Does anyone have any guidance for trading w/ friends in-game? I wanted to do the Jaeger RR trade since I have plenty of rubles, but I'm still LL1 because I'm stuck on one of his early quests. Level 20+ and reserve is my fav map so I wanted the rebel already.

Friend did the trade for me and dropped it in-game. I've been paying him back (280k per game) but I just saw that BSG has made statements about being strict on "boosting" or anything that looks like RMT. I think it's pretty obviously neither of those but I'm starting to get a little paranoid now. Any advice?

Anyone ever get an issue where VSync makes their framerate dip severely? Game dips down into 20FPS when it's on. When VSync is turned off the game runs at 60+ but I get this annoying ass horizontal tearing.

I'm running a GTX 980 and Nvidia control panel seems to have no effect on the game regardless of setting.

Running borderless fixes the tearing but then I get microstutters. Never had anything like this in any game before.

So I just got banned. This has been my favorite game for a while now bought EOD about a month after start. @worthy cedar just means that they have a faster SSD than you and the game is loading faster

It's reading their files faster therefore they load in faster, same thing happens with me, my SSD is about 3 years old, my mates is like 3 months old and has a faster read/write than mine. He loads in about 15 seconds earlier than I do. It's nothing wrong with your system or game so don't stress.

Also yeah if your friend loads in scav quicker, then that's fine, but if he's in a PMC raid before you then there's a problem

If you don't get the 'deploying in...' screen when you do PMC raids, then check your RAM settings in your bios, and move the game to an SSD or a faster hard drive

Another solution is to change your dns server on Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network Connections, Then selecting properties on your selected internet connection and go to Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4), Then down at the bottom click use the following DNS server addresses and input on the top line 80.80.80.80 and on the bottom line put 80.80.81.81 and you will be able to open the launcher and download/update the game.

I just ran a scav run, it was the only thing i had loft because i had no other loot because i kept dying. in this run i get an m4, with a scope and an ak and lots more in my backpack. and when escaping from bunker hermetic door and when I exited, i got an error saying no profile loaded, then it reloaded and gave me the same error, and then went strait no the home screen with no fucking loot at all. to say that im a little pissed is an understatement. I understand that this game is a beta, but this but truly ruined the game for me, I have practically nothing in my storage and that scav run saved me, then, I lost all of it, from a fucking bug.

@cinder nymph repaired it like 4 times, relaunched launcher, reselected installation directory twice, restarted pc, repaired 1 last time and it worked. I have no idea why it suddenly worked. Try running in admin or as non admin (I was default launching as admin, but I didnt get to try that before it fixed itself).

I also heard to uninstall the launcher (so you dont have to reinstall the game) and reinstall it, reselect install dir. and it could fix it

Fix that worked for me:

Repaired it like 4 times, relaunched launcher, reselected installation directory twice, restarted pc, repaired 1 last time and it worked. I have no idea why it suddenly worked. Try running in admin or as non admin (I was default launching as admin, but I didnt get to try that before it fixed itself).

I also heard to uninstall the launcher (so you dont have to reinstall the game) and reinstall it, reselect install dir. and it could fix it

  4. hardware check (stable with other games/apps)
  5. Reinstalled Tarkov

hey guys, thought id ask here. I keep getting random unity crashes for no apparent reason. Like on any map, at any time, for any reason. I'll get the unity crash icon come up, and then the game will close, the launcher will reappear asking if I want to report it, which I always click "yes" to and it always tells me that ive reached my "limit", and then I restart the game and rejoin the raid. Not sure what to do. I've done reinstalls, integrity checks, /sfc checks of my disks, i've even done a fresh windows install, drivers and all. I'm honestly at a loss. If anyone has any ideas please let me know 🙂 I love playing this game, its like my 5th or 6th wipe with nearly 1000 hours but its unplayable right now :(. Thanks

@runic fractal do I have to deinstall the base game as well ? as I downloaded the ETS to a seperate file and after I deleted them, the game went for game file checking with 300MB/s and then just checked the integrety and still told me to have wrong major version. I also restarted my PC once

yeah, so I installed EFt normally into my EFt file
when I got into ETS, it donloaded EFT again and I had to choose a seperate file for it to download, so I had 2x EFT installed

An just after I now deinstalled all my EFT files, It downloaded the game first for ETS and still did say wrong major version and now I am installing main EFT again
