I've been having some low FPS in Tarkov lately I have a I7-7700K + 32GB of Ram and a RTX - 2080 GPU.
I get about 40-50 FPS on some areas of reserve and an average of 60-70 FPS but it feels quite choppy at times on other maps. I've tried the following Nvidia settings but it seems to of only marginally helped.
Does anyone have any ideas how I could spice my FPS up?

Might be the spikes in you internet connection? Altho that wouldnt explain the low FPS I run a I5 and a 1050TI and I run stable on the highest settings not considering the usual stutters.

I tried updating my drivers and also tried a few other tweaks, I can only notice about a 5 or 8 FPS increase when at the Radar dome.
I'm wondering, could there be some sort of CPU or GPU bottleneck involved?
And for my net connection I just did a test and everything seems good, I'm on a pretty expensive business line so the net connection I don't think is the problem but I could be missing something.

I've been having a serious issue with tarkov where my games will graphically crash and it's happening more and more each raid. I'm running high graphics on a Ryzen 7 1700 and GTX 1080 with 16 gigs of ram. Should I lower graphics settings or roll back my graphics drives as it's always a unity error.
This has only been happening recently. I feel that it can be pegged to a recent patch as both of my friends had their settings muddled with for some odd reason causing performance dips. But I had not been experiencing any major issues until just this week

hi, i have a question revolving a friend. he recently built a total beast of a pc - 2070 Super, i9 9900k, 16gb 3200mhz ram
his GPU is detected and running well in benchmarks, but when moving his mouse (???) he gets heavy frame drops both in game and in menu
he's dropping from 113 frames to 6 just by moving his mouse, but the game is able to run fine in fps wise even when on ultra. only when he moves his mouse (obviously integral to playing the game) do issues occur

I had the same issue when I manually selected a server location and I was hosting a game
I reneabled auto server select and stopped hosting groups and it fixed it for me
so if you're hosting groups for friends try letting them host

So I ran Customs with Scavs only to see how EFT uses my PC. The GPU usage is fluctuating quite a bit, going from 25% to 70% when things get really bad on Customs. My CPU usage is generally around 20-35%.
What I noticed is that with my RX 5500 XT GPU (the 8GB version) EFT is eating up pretty much all of my VRAM. I don't know what that really means myself.

I will say this. I think I can pin point one specific incident that this started occuring around.
I ran this game when my flight sim was running too causing an OOM issue but I never ran them together again.
As of typing this my Tarkov just OOMED for the 4th time in a raid while being idle in a bush.

It's a really perculiar issue for me. It only happens on shroeline. Until it happened on Labs. Then it happened multiple times on Customs. I reinstalled, no issue on Shoreline for a good portion of the day, now it's starting to deteriorate in performance more and more.
My best guess would actually be some kind of memory leak since I have had the program open for maybe... 5 hours now?

I noticed that a lot of people seem to have load time issues and the only game I have an issue with is tarkov I find myself late for most of my raids only occasionally getting a deploy screen. There really isnt a fix for it except wait for the game to be optimized I suppose.

if you don't have enough room move a bit of it, leave the insurance window do what you need to do like break stuff down and move it into storages then go back into the insurance page to move the rest. π

Granted, it's probably not easy to keep track of the serverside changes, since scav loadout is serverside and not clientside(which makes it impossible to use client decompile through dnspy to just extract spawntable data).
BUT at least it should be on the same page within the same wiki service. When your raider wiki page contradicts the quest guide, clearly you should change at least one of it.
Also, https://escapefromtarkov.gamepedia.com/Scav_Raiders#Chest_rigs is definitely outdated. Blackrock being removed from their table was appropriately applied, but the changes that came after hasn't been touched. One example, slicks don't spawn on raiders anymore. This is obvious if you look at the flea data - there has been literally 0 damaged slicks being sold on the market ever this wipe. No one has ever seen a 50/80 slick, and never will. Gee I wonder why.

I have a couple of questions. the only way i seem to be able to get a steady 240 hz is if in Nvidia control panel g-syng is only enabled for fullscreen mode, and tarkov is set to "borderless" and "v sync" checked on. this makes no sense to me. if i set it in windows to be enabled for windowed and full screen mode, tarkov fluctuates around 144hz which is the max allowed in game settings. what am i missing here? any help is appreciated.

Just to give feedback here: password reset has been done successful a second time, still not able to login, neither to the profile nor to the launcher, launcher gives error 206, profile says "wrong password or email", I contacted support via email, a second tarkov account works fine on this machine

OK, just to make this clear again: your region restricts you from where you are allowed to login into the BSG launcher = IP geolocation depends to this. So if he is physically online from an EU IP he can't login to the game

If I go to flea market I actually have got stuff that I got in a raid.. i mean I looted an enemy and I even killed that enemy.. and I was a PMC .. so I mean there is not chance that I can't sell it!
And th flea market tells me for tons of items" you haven't got this in a raid u can't sell it" WTH!!... this bug should be known from BSG...
@rapid ivy as far as I know no, they will stay for some hours then go. Just move items to your body and just figure out little by little, sell stuff.. u can't accumulate forever... or just buy scav boxes with those money so u can keep the rest (some of the items will be going in the scav box)

@vivid briar and others: the transaction cancelled is typical when something during the transaction goes wrong. maybe a pin code not written in time or other things that block or have put you in not white list because u have a blocker or also other more serious things... Just ask them via support.

One day he came on and it told him to download the game after playing it the day before, after it downloaded he went to play it and it told him to download again, he has tried uninstalling and reinstalling, the game downloads but the launcher doesnt recongise it, even when the path is set directly to the install location

I'm having a graphical/memory issue on Shoreline where if I spend a prolonged period of time on the map I inevitably get a freeze where my graphics go to black or freeze to a previous action such as opening an inventory or proning. I still hear and can move but I cannot see forcing the need to relaunch Tarkov. This has been causing issues for me as it prevents any sort of progression as later quests do have some choke points on Shoreline.
