Excuse me - So I have a little complaint about the Jaeger quest - That one about killing 4 Scavs on the Woods.
So,the problem being is that you actually cannot use meds AFTER you did the quest,because after I killed the 4th Scav near the sawmill,I decided to bandage my wound,cause,you know,dying with loot isn't so cool.
Turns out that you cannot use meds even AFTER that damned "Quest completed!" and it's chime,cause it now says I failed the quest.
Is this a feature or just a way to mess with players?

It essentially rejects all additional left click inputs for 190ms after left click is pressed once. My question is, Is This Bannable? or more specifically, does Battleye redflag it?

It should have a verification sequence where it'll put a "fake" charge on your card and if your bank doesn't instantly decline it you'll have to give them the number that they charged
(note, the verification does not cost you anything and the charge will not fully go through it's to make sure you have access to the account and that the bank doesn't auto decline it).

But before you do that try verifying your game integrity and clearing your cache
You can do that by opening the launcher with the game closed, and then top right of your launcher click your profile and you'll see the options on the dropdown

I like to run my own custom fan curves with MSI Afterburner.
I have noticed that when I load Tarkov, it disables Afterburner. No biggie, just alt+tab and turn it on manually and it works. Has anyone found a solution so that MSI continues to work AFTER Tarkov is opened?
And I am headed to sleep. I'm okay with a ping if someone finds an answer so I can see it!

Hi, I am currently trying to download the game off the client, however I am only getting upwards of 50kb per second. I know it is not my internet connection because all my other download speeds reach upwards of 20mb per second. It took forever to download the launcher of battlestate websites. Anyone know if their is current server issues in regards to downloading the game?

@edgy notch Download speeds on the server should be fine right now, make sure no antivirus is throttling the connection. Might be worth restarting your router as that helped someone earlier today, (pause the download before you restart).
@brazen apex You can make a support ticket on that, most errors transferring items don't necessarily get "lost" it's possible there was an error in transfer and it's still in Prapor's insurance text just restart the game. If you can use shadowplay to record for the next time it happens.

@violet sentinel You can try giving EFT a higher prioritization, I would not recommend leaving the prioritization higher than it currently is but it's worth a try. I've heard lots of "solutions" but not many actually mention what their fix is. You can try making a support ticket as they'll probably have a rundown of current fixes, but you can try playing with a few things like running in admin mode, checking compatibilities, etc.

If it's affecting your gameplay such as crashing mid game you can make a support ticket and they'll probably ask you to manually upload the log to diagnose the issue. There is a way to upload the log as a bug report but this won't directly help you
If there is any similarities when you crash if you can provide those details here there might be some help but this is more than likely going to have to be resolved in a support ticket as that's beyond me

Unsure why but if Real-time protection is turned on Tarkov won't load past the first screen. As soon as you disable this and restart the game it loads right in... I fear something fishy is going on in the background and Windows 10 is preventing the game from loading since when stuck on that loading screen CPU usage is high but disk usage is 0% until it's disabled then disk usage goes up as it loads to the main menu.``

you will notice an improvement if you upgrade to an SSD (it's just a fact that almost any SSDs can read/write faster than an HDD)
there are tools to help you move data from one drive to another, though no tools come to mind immediately

Howdy, I'm not a computer hardware nerd so I need some help:
I'm looking to upgrade my PC to run EFT better at higher graphics settings, currently I scrape by at minimal settings. My CPU seems to be handling EFT fine, my very old GPU (gtx 750) needs an upgrade. How well will EFT run if you meet the recommended system requirements, will I need to exceed the recommended requirements to get a good stable FPS at medium-high settings? Anything else I should know since I'm trying to improve general quality while playing EFT?

@dry gate late spawns are easily fixed if you select only 2-3 servers, allowing less servers for you to be thrown into a late game

Anyone having issues loading into Reserve? I load in fine, but my buddy loads in late, usually disconnects once in, the is able to get into the match. Take about 5-9 min from start of match for him to get in. This issue has only started happening after today's update.

@bitter wave reserve is like that alot, it is a really heavy map unless you have an SSD.

It's probably not going to let you resume the download until you reset your password, when you uninstalled the game it probably ran a few files it couldn't delete so it's still in runtime

@rapid ivy I fixed my "Failure to Load Game" issue. I noticed that one of the times I tried reinstalling that I deleted all the folders and files for the game install but the files in my documents folder would not delete. I was getting a "File Is Not Accessible" error when trying to delete them. I checked ownership and made sure they weren't open by another program, which are 2 of the 3 things that might cause that. The only alternative cause should be the file being encrypted. I had no reason to believe that was the case but after hours of searching google for ways to delete the files local.ini and shared.ini (and screenshots) I was stuck.
It occurred to me that I could tell windows to move my documents folder to another drive/location. So i did that. Once the files were moved (I expected the move to fail but it didn't) I deleted the folder. Then I reinstalled the game and now everything works correctly.
I am back up and running. So if you have the issue where the game wont load after clicking "Play" from the launcher, then try deleting the "Escape From Tarkov" folder in your "Documents" folder. Then Either try launching the game again or reinstall afterward and see what happens. It may just work for you.

I had all kinds of issues since that update as well, and had it take up to 14 minutes loading into raid only to disconnect, spawn late in match, and sometimes battle eye errors.
I messaged support but ended up fixing my issue before their response. Some things that i did when it was fixed are as follows.
I checked for a bios update, and did indeed have to do a flash.
I changed the launcher to always run with admin privileges'.
I took it off automatic server select on launcher, and changed to closest server location,__ (DC for me)__
I also did an Nvidia driver update.
I did all that before launching again after i tried loading the game around 13 times with the same negative results so I'm not sure which one actually fixed the situation, but figured I would just pass along my solutions that helped me, in hopes they help you and others as well good sir.

Hello, I just got this game and I am getting this constant stutter when trying to play and have no idea why, I have good enough specs so it should be smooth, but isn't. I recorded a video and capped the game at 60fps to hopefully make the stutters a bit more visible, it does it at any refresh rate and at any graphics setting. If you're having trouble seeing the stutter then just look at the frame graph, you'll see a little spike each time a stutter happens, which is every few seconds. I have a 144hz laptop display screen. I know that if you create a custom resolution w/ 144hz which is 1920x1079 and select this in-game you can get 144hz as many others who use monitors. Problem is that my intel display does not support that resolution.
I tried to make make the local.ini file to 144hz and I didn't couldn't because when tarkov is started the file is refreshed and bypasses the read-only
