Hello guys. I have a long-term issue since march 2020 and I am not able to play since that. My version of the game is EDGE OF DARKNESS cause I saw a big potential in this game and I didn't regret it. But in march I got an issue and support is kinda ignoring me. The issue is that I am not getting verification code to my email. I requested to change email but it is taking 4 months now... This gentleman was "patient" for 3 weeks at the time of his post. His post is from over 6 months ago. The issue still exists, and I can find many more examples such as this one where it just has not been solved. I could understand an issue like this when attempting to log in to the game itself for example, but the fact that I can't even get to the download button is just ridiculous. I have not seen a single person claiming to have their issue solved. I have attempted to whitelist their "no-reply@escapefromtarkov.com", none of the emails are going to my spam. Today I got on my computer to find a new patch to download, once i finished downloading the patch, i had to unpack the files, 10% of the way into unpacking the files i get an error reading "Game update handling error, Could not find a part of the path." after i click close, i then click repair, once it is done repairing it take me back to the download, then unpacking game files, and the same thing happens. If someone could help that would be great.

Hello, I'm getting errors contantly... It freezes my game and eventually (usually after a minute or freeze force shutsdown the game).
I have updated my GPU drivers, closed unecessary background processes and cleared game cache. Im running on a stable system otherwise.
Earlier it was Nvidia Shadowplay causing these freezes, so I shut it down. But after the patch the freezes came back.

@jolly sluice I see multiple programs running... one trying to stream... another trying to download and update... I'd say your first problem is your hitting your systems bottlenecks easily.
apart from a few stutters and monitor updates it's doing what it's supposed to

the update was fine. it’s physically slowing my pc down. i have never had this issue, hardware hasn’t changed. update downloaded normal speed. tried the launcher with 0 other programs open, still had the problem. safe to say, it ain’t my hardware because my shit doesn’t just magically bottleneck all of the sudden out of nowhere

@jolly sluice Yes. It's called updates. It happens. Considering a computer is a mix of components cooperating and any can fail. It's can be simply luck to not have an error happen. Is your graphics drivers up to date? did they update recently and need a rollback?
I have no idea where you are in troubleshooting...

@jolly sluice That could be related but I wouldn't call it the source of the problem... if something is calling mass notifications to your windows maybe you need to reinstall the programs that push that issue.
@quiet folio have you taken the stock off and been able to fold or unfold it? what happens when you put a stock stock?

Trying to find anything about "AntiCheat connection error" regarding KVM/QEMU, but can't find any. Is it true that BSG are now handing out permabans for playing in a VM? I've been searching for a while now and while I can find people discussing this, I can't find anything in EULAs or whatever that prohibits this. For me getting this error, will I also be permanently banned or can I re-install windows and continue playing? Otherwise I'd like to know how I could go about to get a refund or is all hope lost? (I also couldn't find anything about this in patch notes, if that'd been the case I would've re-installed windows before starting a game with my buddy...)

Hey, yesterday evening i reset my pc i cleared my harddrives and re-installed windows. so later that night i was trying to log onto escapefromtarkov.com. it asked for the security question which i cant remember so i chose the E-mail one where it will send a confirmation code to my main mail i've tried countless times since yesterday i still have not received 1 email and no its not a hotmail. im desperate to play 12.7 and i've read on the eft forum about people with the same problem never getting a reply. any help is appreciated.

@twin plinth depending on map, the game can take up to 14gb of memory... you may not see this as Windows will try to compress and put some usage on storage when you don't have more than ~20gb available
you can certainly play the game on 16gb of system memory and it will push about 8gb to disk but your load times and possibly framerates will suffer
