and if you don't have an SSD, your loading times will be HUGE and you'll most likely spawn later into raids than the other people

Shadow tech has some good deals and you can find some prom codes easily. It's a good option to run with to see if you like the game. Other than that I only recently got a PC that can run it without a problem. My card is rtx 2070 super.

Everything I move it spikes to 300-1000 but when I stay still it’s 50-100

Ping = The time it takes for you to send a packet to the game server
RTT = The time it takes you to send a packet to the server + the time it takes for the server to send a packet to you
So lowering your ping will lower your RTT
You can manually select servers on the game launcher. This helps some people.

Just ran into another invisible scav on customs. I could see them but my team mate could not see, hear, or even see their items (which i dropped for my team mate to use). As well, my team mate saw multiple (at least 5) broken scavs (could not shoot them, standing/walking in place) which I did not see. I don't think its impolite to say this bug needs to be fixed ASAP and should have the focus of BSG.

@stone mountain most likely. I3 is more for office (word, excel, youtube etc.). You also need a new motherboard, and new RAM maybe. It depends on which I3 you are talking about.

Its not just players, scavs are invisible too. And if they are invisible you will also not hear their shots or them talking. So they can and will kill you. The Devs need to figure it out ASAP.

@cinder acorn yeah, if you are the one moving it probably is. Sound is like 70% of this game. If they hear you they can and will aim at were the sound is coming from. Also, you can appear on their screen before they appear on yours due to network speeds and many other factors. So what might have seemed like a prefire could have been a number of other things.

EU, like literally its happened twice already...
One run I got spawned with a labs keycard, fuel conditioner, Red gunpowder and then I ran through the bunker on reserve to get to heating pipe - no one was around me, everyone there was dead and everything was looted - I'm a very careful player so I skimmed that place and there was no one there.
Second run, I had a labs keycard and a paracord (spawned with both).. again on reserve, went through the bunker and again, no shots went off or anything - just randomly my screen went red and had bloodloss, then died.
It's taking the mick now...
Like, I'm level 3.. I've had 2 really good opportunities to make some nice amount of roubles, and then boom - the game robs me..

I'm afraid not, I've personally spent a lot of time on the error and it's caused by too many damn things to pin down. Sometimes a VPN works for some reason though.

Most of the time checksum error is because of a faulty battery. Your motherboard isn't being powered as much as it should be - either that or you've got a virus, or your registry is corrupted/messy.

I spawned into a game of interchange, killed a scav who just stood there (I put like 10 rounds into him after I noticed he was dead), and realized I may be desync'd. I alt+f4'd and when I loaded back into the main menu, I had no option to reconnect. Is there something that stops you from being able to reconnect? Is there something in place that stops me from alt + f4'ing if I notice I am desync'd?
Now this goes without saying, I'd fully support that idea. I just want to know if that's why I couldn't get back in. I also realized that my gear was still on my character, and then when I tried to take them off, they disappeared, and then it showed me dead and injured.

lost all loot inside a backpack stack by completing a ragman quest for turning in a pilgrim. lost 5 guns and a ton of trizips that were inside the pilgrim. Could someone help me? I was changing my game to windowed mode for some resolution tests for my recording and since yesterday I have not been able to access the settings to change it back. I have tried F11, Right ALT + arrows, Windows + arrows and have also went to Nvidia Panel to attempt to change the resolution from there but there is no option. I run on EFT at 55-60FPS, at the start of the games I get some hefty FPS drops to 30. This is the lowest FPS I get compared to any other game I play, I run on a 1080 but with every person I've played they have complained about the optimization so it's probably not you.

This isn't a game issue its affecting other games too.
I will periodically stutter, I thought this was a GPU error but while I am stuttering if I am for instance sprinting I continue to use stamina, but do not move, AND when playing with other people they have seen me cease movement, run in place, they pass me and then I start running without any teleporting.
I've been told this can be caused by packet loss, does anyone have any other insight?
I do not suffer ping spikes, or at the very least none that my system or the game itself is noticing.
Is there anything I can do on my end or do I need to yell at my server provider?

I have that issue all the time. Use the server selector to figure out what server are best for you or your friend (whichever has the worst internet). Then when creating groups the person with the worst internet needs to be the group leader.

And also i have been dying quite often by nothing, im walking around i get damage ticks, like im getting shot, but i am not getting shot, i hear nothing and no-one is in sight. @acoustic goblet See my comment above about choosing the best servers for you. That helped with my DC a lot. Also make sure if you have bad internet that you are the party leader since it will choose the best servers for you. And PS game development is hard and if you think its easy go build a game.

Occasional DC does happen. Does it DC a lot when you are NOT streaming?
Also, A kick for poor internet will have a message. A DC will usually just say "server connection lost"

Well when you are testing you should turn off all other network traffic that you can. eg, streaming, streaming music/video, open web browsers, etc. Make sure you are not on an unstable WIFI connection or over VPN. If you are still seeing consistent DC in the game then I would report it to BSG using the launcher. Make sure in the ticket you are submitting that you detail all of the steps that you have previously tried.

@grizzled sphinx Check your audio settings in discord and in your OS. When you set it to the different modes (hands free / stereo) see if discord changes as well.

@acoustic goblet I could give you more things to test your network but it sounds like your internet is not the issue. I am assuming you don't have (packet drops) stuttering when streaming, watching videos, etc. The problem sounds more like its the servers that are dropping you and I don't know if you can do anything to fix that other than wait for BSG.

thats the button. It will verify the game files installed on your computer. I always do it after each patch just to make sure one of the files didn't get corrupted by a bad download.

@wheat tangle cpu should be fine. I run a Ryzen 7 2700 the better upgrade to run eft for u would be investment in better gpu possibly more ram. I upgraded my rx580 which would run eft in most cases close to 60 FPS with 16 gb of ram. I went up with a rtx 2070 super oc and bumped my ram to 32 gb. Upgrading them both I’m getting well over 100fps

for reference, i have a i7-7700k, GTX 1060 Dual (6GB) and 16GB DDR3 RAM, and game on my SSD. Never experienced any problems, almost never load in late, stuttering is minimal, and I get around 80 FPS on Customs, between 60-70 on Interchange, Woods and Shoreline. However, I don't play Reserve or Labs cuz the first is unoptimized, and also cheaters, and Labs is just cheaters

@vivid briar When i experience the invisible players / scavs issues there are usually a large amount of other bugs, sound bugs, dead scavs standing in place or where they spawned even though they are not there anymore. I believe @tribal charm would have noticed these if the server was having that bad of desync.

i have to ask you guys a genuine question. I have been looking at ppl and their surv chance and kd and i have been asking myself question if im bad at the game. i got a kd of 3 and a surv chance of 27% and i look at other people with their 7kd and a surv chance of 50%+.
