Funnily enough before I updated the graphics card as the server wanted me to (Disallowed program running - Old Nvidia Geforce) it ran at least for like... A minute before throwing me out. Now I get server connection lost immediately after I connect.

@turbid iron it’s because they disabled NVIDA freestyle due to how op it was last wipe and they was adjusting gamma and made raids look extra bright and good

Maybe after that gpu update it enabled it and the is recognized that it’s on so it kicks you

Yeah they removed it and they added there own called POST FX on the settings if you check in the game lol

idk but i just lost several guns killa armor and 2 helmet's all because a quest asked for a pilgrim bag. well for some reason it allows your to select the ones stacked in your stash but apperantly if you click on itll take all your other bags and loot in them so now i have no more bags and the guns and armor is gone.. like tf is that

@plain crypt it depends what task. Some of them are "split" tasks, so if you hand it in to say skier for example you'll fail the therapist part (forever) and you'll get a different quest from her later.

Yeah, some tasks like "bullshit" where you can't kill scavs if you fail can just restart them next raid. But those are "split" tasks where you get a single item and you pick which person to trade it in to. Failing the others.

Before the "Loading loot" there is "Connecting to server" , the game told me that the "Server disconnected" after "Connecting to server".
This problem keeps bugging me, just to bypass the Connecting to server part, i need to alt+F4, go restart my router, start the game up again, and HOPE that the problem's gone. out of ten raid, all of them has the same problem.

a few days ago I was able to play the game fairly normally with only the slightest of frame drops on odd occasion save for reserve and the start of an interchange raid, but a few days ago just before the patch kerfuffle my performance absolutely plummeted and I've been unable to properly play interchange or play reserve at all (server disconnects me). On interchange I'm always desynced, and unless I'm on Factory my computer takes a good while to warm up. Any ideas what happened?

My guess is that RTT is your ping as it should be, and Player RTT is the ping + processing delay ie. server lag. So if Player RTT is jumping, the server is having issues.

My question would be reloaded on my machine and when I install the game from the launcher it will ask for an activation code at login! But I don't get it. However, the site also asks for an activation code when logging in, but I do not receive an email. I have already written to 2 email addresses to help them but they do not respond. And so I can't install the game. there is no mail in the spam folder. I use gmail. if i try the forgotten password i won't get an email about it either. but i already got an email when i bought the game so the whitelist is not an option either. I can't play for 1 day because I can't install the game without the activation code! I have no idea what to do anymore. I'm very sad. 😦 Anyone an idea?

@strong wasp as far as I've seen, desyncing is caused by long load times and the amount of player movement around your spawn area, if you're in a group then tell your teammates to hide in a bush till you're in, if you're solo then hide in the corner of a map and reconnect.
otherwise you could use third party programs to decrease your ram and cpu usage like razer cortex or you could manually clean your processes before entering a game, another thing I do to avoid desyncing is restarting my game before entering another raid.
those are really the only things you can do unless you want to upgrade your specs, personally I'd just try to get 16 gigs of ram or an ssd to put the game on

Does anyone know how to fix this inventory bug? I'm trying to move my sicc case to my stash but it clones itself. When I exit the stash and reopen it it disappears entirely and my stash value goes down as if i actually lost it. Though when I restart my game its back.

@gusty moon Restart your game, if it still show's the ID's instead of the item names then i'd recommend clearing the cache and if that doesn't work then make a bug report via the launcher. (Could also be caused by Server overload.)

@vivid briar you need 3 "found in raid" for a quest, but they're fairly common. A good thing to do is to exchange it for an Adar through Skier, and then selling the Adar for ~20k - the recbat itself normally only goes for around 12k on the market.

@minor kite it happened to me once i fucked up that give me 30 min cooldown to login again i don't know how to help you but my best guess is if you didn't ask or request thro tarkov site or some of your friends might change mail account because i remember mail change don't happen until you do the request first that will apply after 2 weeks for mail change or restart pc or router . if non if that bsg support

My question would be reloaded on my machine and when I install the game from the launcher it will ask for an activation code at login! But I don't get it. However, the site also asks for an activation code when logging in, but I do not receive an email. I have already written to 2 email addresses to help them but they do not respond. And so I can't install the game. there is no mail in the spam folder. I use gmail. if i try the forgotten password i won't get an email about it either. but i already got an email when i bought the game so the whitelist is not an option either. I can't play for 1 day because I can't install the game without the activation code! I have no idea what to do anymore. I'm very sad. 😦 Anyone an idea?

@delicate osprey my game runs fine and im on similar specs i got 2600 gtx 970 overclocked 8gb of ddr4 3000mhz 240gb ssd and a hdd ram is the only issues but can still run the game fine with 80-100fps bigger maps like customs i drop down to 60-70 sometimes but runs great pal jus try get 16gb of ram when you can

all i can recommend is you upgrade when you get the chance look on used market for a gtx970 if money is tight very cheap card with great performance but rn try all low to take strain of the gpu and you'll boost fps by a bit

it creates input lag if you look at pro fps players for games like siege, csgo, ow etc nobody uses vsync 1 cos it gives input lag 2 it caps fps to refresh rate and in fps games all the frames count even if its only 10 more fps then your refresh rate and 3 it feels way smoother cos no frame timing and the gpu and monitor aren't trying to sync frames 24/7

I've first played since this wipe on the 12th of June and two or three days later I bought the EOD upgrade. However since than I had a huge problem with server disconnects, that gotten worse and worse, to the point where every single raid involves a server disconnect, that either ends in me rejoining a raid standing right in the open and dying right away, or me rejoining and getting sent straight into the death screen. The strange thing is that it's just happening with the PMC raids. The SCAV raids do happen to have server disconnects as well, but it's not as common as it is with the PMC raids. Support hasn't answered me yet, so now I thought about installing the game new and reseting my profile, however I don't know if that really could fix it. Could the problem be that something went wrong with upgrading my standard version of the game to EOD? I didn't start a new character after getting the EOD upgrade.
I don't think that it has something to do with my internet. I never had a single disconnect before the wipe and I'm sure that never changed on my internet between the wipe. Everything else internet related also runs fine like always.

@stoic frigate What is your ping when you're in game? It sounds like your suffering from disconnects due to high ping. They recently added (I believe a 150 ping limit) so anytime you're over that for more than 10ish seconds in raid it disconnects you due to high ping. Has happened to me a few times but not a lot. If it's continuously happening you might want to change servers on the launcher

@stoic frigate ye you should not have any problems at all, germany and around have servers that are stable around 30-60 ping

so its much likely your side of the problem, try reseting your router reinstaling it or changing it for new one, also update your drivers

i keep getting stutters and this isn't limited to tarkov. My whole pc will stutter with sound still being normal and when i check performance manager my cpu usage goes to 100% whilst my gpu usage goes up to 0%

@hard storm the better visual is set the bigger the disadvantage you have in this game so, there is no point having good grapgic that would "choke" my pc, plus the infinite loading screen is still an issue

Open your backpack that is stacked on your pmc, the first one inside of it, drag that one to your inventory. Then you should be able to take the other one off as well. Worked like that for me! @coarse compass

wondering if anyone has issues getting the game installed? I have a new desktop all setup with other games running fine. I've been trying to install a fresh copy of tarkov to the C: drive (using an external drive for BSG launcher's temp folder), but everytime I download the game through the launcher and get to the install I get errors like "bad state unknown compression method"

I originally had the game running when I ported it over from an external drive, but I would get random CTDs in the middle of raids so I opted for a fresh installed. Wiped everything tarkov related including registry and App Data files, and downloaded the launcher fresh, but now can't get the game to actually install

#

Repairing/Reinstalling makes the launcher go Checking through the 10gigs and then try to redownload everything which makes troubleshooting a pain

#
