Since today's patch I noticed my FPS have been lower. I was getting around 70-90 on reserve and in certain places now I get as low as 55 constant. I feel like my setup should be able to run this game at 100+ frames easily.
On shoreline I was getting constant 100 and now I'm getting 80-90.
Another weird thing is that I have the same fps on 1440p as in 1080p. Isn't that weird?

I have a question about NVIDIA filters. I heard nvidia filters are disabled, but mine still work. Is there any official statement what happens if you use nvidia filters instead of postfx? This would be pretty good to clarify for everyone who can still use them.

It'll basically just delete all of your launchers cached settings, usually that un-sticks any loops the launcher is stuck in.

I seem to loose 80% of the engagements, and im not sure why. It seems like everyone who goes up against me is 10 times faster. Whenever I run factory for example, I take my time, slow and quiet like everyone says, then someone peaks around the corner and taps me in the head before I even got the time to aim.
And this is happening very very often, almost as if everyone knew exactly where I was. It feels like they start shooting and I die, before I even get to see them
I've got a good internet connection, So i dont think thats the problem. Im just tired of dying over and over to people I literally dont have the time to react to...

well, factory is a very unforgiving map, have you considered playing maps with longer engagement distances

btw you cant actually physically buy those backpacks.. they contain more than the largest stash possible worth of items... what they do is fill items cases with backpacks and that allows them to sell them from the items case, so they can sell more at once than would be possible to have in stash

When going to list an item on the flea market, the last selected item is chosen as the default item to list. I have noticed three separate times today when going to 'filter by item' with the item you intend to list selected, then navigating to the '+'
value button, the item is changed to the previously selected item in your inventory. I am very cautious when listing items however three times today the item bugs back to the pre-selected item resulting in selling a high cut t800 black helmet for 6k roubles, a cordura blanket for 4k roubles, and sugar for 3k roubles.
Please let me know if there is anyone I can walk through to better explain the error.

Is there a known issue with Hideouts where its pitch black no matter what light source you turn on? Plenty of fuel for generators that's not issue. Candles don't even show up as lit when I enter my my hideout. Top down view works fine, but I just made the shooting range and wanted to try it, but can't see anything now.

Hey so I'm having an issue where I can't connect to a match either with a scav or pmc without the game crashing. It will get to loading loot or awaiting session start, but crashes. I was able to enter one scav run after 4 attempts but after trying a pmc run on reserve, I had no luck after 8 attempts.
When it crashes it also crashes any browsers or applications like discord . I haven't played since the last patch and never had this issue before. Any help figuring out what's causing it would be appreciated.

if they can do that, they can just clone the item into their inventories.. no offense, but items in the game aren't physical objects.. there is no reason for an object in the game needs to be removed in order for it to exist in another inventory

the software runs on the CPU.. it tells the GPU to load textures and 3D meshes into memory, and the 3D engine (Unity in this case) uses the CPU to control these meshes (3D objects) on the GPU and move all the objects around and have them interact according to how the game works.. stuff that can be done using mathematical formulas, like water waves or leaves on a bush or tree waving in the wind, can be offloaded to the GPU using vertex shaders (these are nothing but rules that tell the GPU what to do with the object it has in memory, and thus, what to render on screen..
movement of characters, inventory management, etc.. is all handled on de CPU.. in software.. however.. you could have these rules being arbitrated on several points: you could have every game control the rules of the game, and send the information to the server, and the server just blindly following what these clients tell it, and relay that to the other players.. that's one way (bad way) of doing things..

well i can understand when you reinstall windows. You basically delete the settings file on your pc wich saves information for the launcher. But twice ? Maybe a bug. Worst case someone has access to your account and is loggin in so the launcher gets confused and asks for E-mail confirmation. Just enable 2-FA to be sure

It's because your game file has been modified somehow. Click on your name in the launcher and check the integrity of you game files and it should repair itself.

So when I loaded into Shoreline (multiple times) I just got server connection problems and got booted off. I haven't had this issue for any other maps I've tried (Woods, Factory and Customs) allthough I had some issus with Interchange. My server is the Helsinki one. Is there any known fix?

I am cross posting this from the BSG forums, because I know it will get deleted. I am posting this just to shame them. This has been a horrid experience trying to get my product.
the tl;dr is this: I bought the EOD as a new customer, but never received a receipt. Waited a day and got my receipt from PayPal, but Xsolla. A day later the money left my account, but still no receipt from Xsolla. I bought a Standard edition just to play while I waited. And waited. No one has my money, not me not Xsolla not PayPal, and of course not BSG, who has chosen to just ignore all responsibility. Terms of service do not make you immune from being shitty business to your customers.
Someone has my money, and it isn't me. All I want is my money back, or my game. But at this point, I am pretty sure BSG is going to delete me as a user for outing them for being crooks.

Every time I've assisted a user with a similar problem, it's always been Xsollas fault in the end. BSG won't do anything to a upset consumer, especially when they have a right to be however when it comes to outright slander that's a different matter.
My recommendation is to put the screws to Xsolla and of they don't pay out send a transcription of the conversation to PayPal and charge back the purchase.

I am completely powerless, and Xsolla is going to basically screw me over. I am now out $220 CAD for the EOD edition. I've already contacted Xsolla numerous times. They tell me to talk to BSG. Everyone tells me to talk to someone else.

That's because BSG has no access to your financial accounts, everything is routed through Xsolla.
So in the end they're the accountable party as the transactions middle-man.

I more or less understand the ins and outs of who is whom and where my money is. The point is that BSG is still the vendor, and it is their choice of payment platforms.
BSG is not without fault for this. Not in any way whatsoever, even if the legal terms of service make them immune. I have already contacted my lawyer and the police to pursue Xsolla.

depends on a lot of factors really. Could be your GPU, your CPU, your internet speed, could be that your computer is overheating, could be that your CPU is under heavy load, there isn't really a "fix all" solution for that.

When I press play in the launcher, the screen minimizes and a small window pops up titled "BattlEye Launcher", which displays that the battleye service is launching, but it never actually does. And the game does not launch because of this, is there a fix?

@summer mica was it this? I went into the C:\Escape From Tarkov\BattlEye, and used the uninstall battleye service. restarted computer, launched the game, and pressed play. It works now. Thank you for your help.
