I managed to fix it by first of all finding and opening my temp folder

then you let the download run through once the "checking" part start you want to close the launcher, just so checking wont get completed because if cheking gets completed the temp file is going to get deleted

then you open your temp file with winrar/7zip it should be called something like (live)EFTClientDistr.[patch version].distr.tmp now you copy it to your game directory and just past it there.

now you just unpack it there (ignore all errors) and once its done you start the launcher and click on "repair" that should fix the issue

We were playing with a guy that we met in the Discord, and we did a raid, then when we were extracting at the end of the raid, (full of loot) the player (wjcsniper) teamkilled the squad with 1.2 seconds to go and then he extracted to keep his own gear. Then left the Discord, and block the people he was playing with.

I am not 100% sure how strict it is. If you are just using it to, for example, rebind a broken key, I would say that's completely fine. If you are using it to simplify or automate stuff (for example one macro to do 3 different actions ingame), I would say that's not allowed.

For example a friend of mine has a mouse with side-buttons that can act as macros. He just set them to specific unused keys (for example numpad + and -) and assigned them to lean left/right ingame. Things like that should be completely fine.

Try different servers. "Server connection lost" issues are caused by the connection between you and the server 99% of the time.

Pick a few servers close to you.

It's always gonna be dark in the big areas. If you're too fucking stupid to look through the actual setting for a brightness, I don't know why you're even playing. If there isn't a brightness setting, your only shot is your monitor. If those two don't pan out, then fucking figure it out yourself.

That's more than likely because you run out of ram. Check to make sure the ram cleanup setting is on, and if it is, you probably need more ram. What's your ram?

@grim coral It's a bitch to fix but I had the same issue post 12.4.6 - basically there's a conflict between a unity file and windows. Run this script then delete all other BSG / tarkov file and folders then install to a fresh folder in a different path.

it's a unity-windows conflict, I don't know the specifics of the technical issue but the unity engine isn't booting properly which is why it's crashing only ingame

i just thought it was weird that it was taking discord with it too

i was able to move around my stash and my hideout and vendors and stuff too but i havent actually loaded into the actual game yet 😅

I think that's only because Discord uses a lot of ram and if you're in a discord server like this with a lot of information / data it might just overwhelm it and cause a cascade crash

as far as Im aware there's no distinct conflict between tarkov and discord
