@soft tusk The nature of a Beta test indicates that balance issues are being worked on constantly. The game is getting better and better all the time. There is this big influx of new folks so I'm excited to see what BSG is going to get up to. They have already said that they are bringing new servers online and doing load testing. As for advice on how to improve those skill I would direct you to the wiki where you can get some direction on the actions that will give you the needed skill experience. Getting back to the lower levels that are needed for the hideout upgrades and such should be no problem. Good luck my dude, happy hunting. ๐

@thorn kernel It's very common after patches and issues, the servers are down. You have to come back later. A lot of people want to discover the new features. Unfortunatly sometimes, the servers are overloaded and crashed.

They have not marketed this as a triple AAA game. The reason for buying the game is to give support to the devs, much like a kickstarter. every time you even launch the game it warns you that this is not finished. on the site too. The only reason people should buy this game is if they want to support the devs and have fun contributing to finding bugs and stuff to help QA test for them.
this version of the game is by no means meant to be taken as a regular full release game. The price tag isn't the price of the game. That is a donation to the team, and you just so happen to get access to test the game for them.
