That is a user error yet upgrading server infrastructure is probably exaggerating that problem. It happens when your connection dips below 100%.

Game is on SSD, very good pc, and I load in games extremely fast (3/5s and then I just wait for players). This is BS ngl. I bought the game a while ago but wanted to get better at PC gaming to play it. So roll on forward to now it says my password is wrong. (I obviously forgot it)
I went to reset it on the website I typed in my email and clicked 'I'm not a robot' thing then it put me straight back to the front website menu.
I go then to try it again and it tells me my maximum attempts are used up and now have to do this again in 1 hour.
I did so wait 1 hour and it did the exact same thing to me again.

I'm afraid they don't do that, not only because if they started restoring stuff lost like that they'd spend more time doing that then actually working on the game, the loss of items is actually covered in the TOS we all agreed to when we started playing Tarkov.
